  1. Past hour
  2. Agree, I rewatched the Michigan game last night and I’m not too thrilled about our returning starting center, plenty of plays that he was 3 yards deep in the backfield. We say how the offensive line “improved” late in the year as if it turned into a good OL, no, it went from among the worst in the nation to below average, which was still a decent jump. Left guard and center concern me big time for this team’s ceiling, hard for me to believe Robertson and whoever starts at LG will be able to win or even hold up against the elite DLs. I’m curious to why we didn’t move Baker to LG to have a dominant left side to run behind, but we will see how it all pans out.
  3. Looks like Earl Campbell. He can play any position they put him at and he'll dominate at any of those positions. And when was that 4.5 timed? I bet it was last summer. Something tells me he's getting bigger stronger and faster. And Texas has proven they develop guys with that super talent.
  4. Some of those defensive players weren’t convinced they needed to tackle him. Bi don’t blame them.
  5. Amen Thompson, but I’m being facetious
  6. I’ve been thinking a lot about this. Does Kavan even play in game 1?
  7. Wonder what Mike’s strategy will be with Kavan in this opening game. Start but hope we score a lot early so she can come out?
  8. Seeing that Florida threw in the nil to get Peyton Miller from Texas is he a notch below?
  9. Who is Amen? I didn't think Wemby deserved a flagrant 2 the other night. I think the refs were in the tank.
  10. He's a take, yep. Flood spent three hours at the school last week.
  11. Is he a take if he wanted to commit today? Or are their others higher on the board?
  12. Don't know if this article by Thomas Jones of the AAS is behind a paywall or not, but a good read https://www.statesman.com/sports/college/longhorns/softball/article/austin-regional-teams-ncaa-tournament-22252650.php
  13. Today
  14. It's a slow jumper, that's for sure.
  15. I should have been working, but had to take a break to scroll on X for a bit! 😬
  16. Last year's O-Line was atrocious. Not just bad. Guys were falling over each other, the team couldn't run the ball at all, and it felt like every snap was reaction time training for Arch, which led to a some small bad habits. Flood can have the benefit of the doubt for a rough season without a major threat at RB, but if the OL is still a problem in 2026 and we still can't run the ball with two 1000yd backs and if Arch is still being sacked 6 times against FL or 5 times against MS St., who else can we blame?
  17. I think the problem isn't Flood's ability to develop it is his and Sarkisian's desire to recruit stiff large bodies that were already max'd out lacking the athleticism to execute the zone concepts Sarkisian likes to run in his offense. Hopefully, they have changed the way they are evaulating kids in HS and will take more guys that have room to grow physically that already possess above average to elite athleticism for the position. The other issue being their reluctance to use the portal to fix gaping holes due to their poor recruting strategy. It appears both of these issues are being addressed.
  18. You didn’t cite any specific film or any specific sources. You deliberately attacked my opinion of Flood by quoting it and then responding to it. Again if you didn’t cite someone else breaking down film, I assumed it was based on your own eye. If so just add more context to prove your point, if you’re going to specifically quote and attack something I say. Be blessed.
  19. Georgia ran tackle over, play fake on 4th and 1. Why? Youre living in an age that no longer exists. It’s like college baseball fans that don’t understand why we give up home runs. Defense has numbers. Better depth, better coached depth across college. Defenses are quicker, faster, shooting gaps and attacking. Maybe at some point it’ll be overwhelming talent. Look at Miami’s TD versus Indy. Gadgety, misdirection of sorts. Best Oline in college, right?
  20. I kept checking and must have tapped my fingers on the table for a full 3 minutes. You're losing your edge, sir.
  21. Right. There have been multiple head scratches over the years. That was one. The disappearance of Neto another. Yes, you referenced both of those. Whether that rests solely with Flood, I have no idea.
  22. Going to come down to who's got it on race day.
  23. Too many short yardage situations last year required misdirection, direct snaps to RB, passing, etc. Those gadget plays should go against our short yardage tendencies..........not be our short yardage tendency. Consistently imposing our will 3rd or 4th and one would make this line complete. It's what's been lacking for too long now. Hopefully that gets fixed.
  24. Typically a coach’s decision, right? I don’t think we’re off here.
