  1. Past hour
  2. For what its worth, I stand with you. Unsure of what happened outside the program, but for those few games he shined imo. Also does no one remember the photo of his palm with the thumb injury he played with? ON HIS THROWING HAND...it was wild.
  3. He was amazing in the second half of the Alamo Bowl after Ehlinger got hurt. Looked it up: 8-10 for 170 yards and four TDs. I remember thinking that Hudson Card must really be Aaron Rodgers to have beaten him out. Whoops.
  4. So @Gerry Hamilton why did Bobby bring up the word Fiance on coffee & football this morning?👀
  5. If you watch him when he’s healthy vs Tech, TCU, and OU and call him a bad player idk what to tell you. And I’d like to hear what a good player is lol. I think he was absolutely capable but had a bad defense and oline.
  6. Pec on top of a back issue he had coming out of high school. One of the reasons he played in Canada so long is that he finally had back surgery. I talked to him after he went under the knife and said he never felt better.
  7. Jeffcoat tore an upper body muscle, IIRC. Probably weightlifting?
  8. Phew this is a tough one. I’m going with Tubbs, Bobino, then Jeffcoat. What could’ve been if Boom stayed for all 4 years with Jeffcoat.
  9. He did get a shot but actually ended up crushing in the CFL. He had a great interview on 3rd and longhorn talking about that.
  10. https://www.chron.com/sports/college-football/article/ut-s-pittman-dies-in-car-accident-2002693.php Just made me sad to read Cole Pittman's name again.
  11. Arch, what do you think you need to improve upon as a leader on the field this season?
  12. What happened in 2021 needed to happen. Texas had to hit rock bottom to begin the climb back up the mountain anew.
  13. i'm already prepping my meltdown
  14. The board is going to be really fun since we lost sales and when royal flips to LSU it’s going to be epic on this board
  15. had to update it from Sales to Royals. put the wrong 5Star receiver that he will probably lose out on again
  16. i agree on that one. Same thing in sales. as soon as you start trashing the competition, you lose a lot of your audience.
  17. Point taken. Still, you'd be surprised how many parents and prospects power down or get flat sour on a school when the recruiting pitch is to bash the other schools in the mix. They want to hear about you and your program, not the other guy.
  18. I mean all 3 questions are very valid 👀
  19. Bonus @Joe Zura questin for Sark - Can you please walk us through how you fumbled the DK Moore recruitement and what steps have you taken to not let the same fumble happen with Royals?
  20. @Joe Zura wants you to ask the questions below Sark - what does Flood have on you that he has been able to stay your oline coach? Goosby - How hard has it been to overcome Flood as your position coach? Arch - Have you ever been tempted to hurl the ball at Flood as hard as you can for what he made you go through last year with that oline?
  21. Negative recruitment should be about the program/results not about personal stuff. Talk smack about how bad they are as a coach/developer and how they can't win the big game all day long. But to go negative on something that is 10 years old and he has overcome is just scum behavior.
  22. I get why schools negatively recruit, but I wish it didn't happen. You should be able to sell yourself without taking jabs at the competition.
  23. Today
  24. I was at the 44-14 win over North Carolina in 2001. My pick for 44 will always be Cole Pittman.
  25. I agree. Going personal just shows you lost everywhere else and thats all you have left.
