Yes it would be stupid if Texas does this. Really don't care for this free-agent type of deal after every season. You say "adapt or die" I say they should change the system and regulate everything a lot more, which is something that every school would want. If it stays like this cfb is gonna slowly disintegrate, and it has nothing to do with players getting paid or not.

Had not seen something like this so far in the NIL era. USC is announcing players are re-signing with the school via NIL or whatever contractual agreement they have in place. Wonder if this will become the norm across the country.
