Texas Athletics has a new sponsor
Gerry Hamilton replied to Hank South's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I'm fasting today in honor live life healthy -
The off-season at its finest!

It’s kind of hilarious that Elko paraded this around at the beginning of the season and literally has nothing to show for it outside of a participation trophy in the CFP. I can’t wait for Looch’s gymnastics of how this upcoming A&M team is going to be better after losing 15 draftable players, even though Texas couldn’t because it “lost too much.”

@Gerry Hamilton you going to take that from mute Howe and let him diss your team like that?

HI 👀👀

25-26 Director's Cup Thread

National championships in the marquee sports are really tough, the baseball/softball combo has never been done before. UConn did it in basketball a few years back, and only Nebraska and USC has pulled off the football/volleyball combo, and that's only happened a total of 2 times. That Texas is potentially in the hunt for 5 of the 6 is a major testament to the school, CDC, the coaches and the programs. I say 5/6 because realistically I don't think anyone's thinking men's bball is a legitimate contender for the title this year. -
Texas Athletics has a new sponsor
Hank South replied to Hank South's topic in On Texas Football Forum
From CDC: “LLH Healthcare’s sponsorship brings a strong commitment to empower our student-athletes, staff and everyone connected to The University of Texas to live life healthy. I look forward to seeing the opportunities they provide to our student-athletes to tell their individual stories and the connections they create with the entire Longhorn Nation.” -
From the University: AUSTIN (March 4, 2026) – LLH Healthcare and Texas Athletics announced today a new long-term, multi-faceted sponsorship designed to reach The University of Texas community and businesses through year-round storytelling in the spirit of LLH’s “Live Life Healthy” mantra. The comprehensive collaboration, facilitated by Longhorn Sports Properties – the locally based team of Learfield and exclusive multimedia rights holder for Texas Athletics – names LLH Healthcare as the Official Employee Benefits Sponsor of Texas Athletics. The collaboration also provides a permanent gate entitlement at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium, one of the most storied venues in college football. The LLH Gate will provide brand placement incorporated into a stadium entrance for year-round brand visibility and high-value game day connection as fans enter the stadium at peak excitement.

Rowing ranked #2. Possible to see both baseball and softball win their NC. Which sport could push us into the top spot. -

I can't really understand it either. We do have two incredible sprinters coming in next year - sisters that have the #1 and #3 all time high school records for the 60 m indoor as well as other sprinting accolades. But, there has certainly been a lull in bringing high end talent to the track program. It is a tricky sport to recruit to because of scholarship limits. Especially on the men's side. All the scholarships have to be split between T&F and CC. Seems that Texas always focused the scholarships on T&F. There are no longer limits, only roster limit which I think is like 45. That excuse is mostly off the table now, or at least whenever Texas is able to fund all 45 scholarships. T&F and CC make up 6 out of 21 sports on campus for Texas. That's 28.5% of the athletic program and the lack of high end results there would be the biggest contributing factor to us not winning the Directors' Cup this year. -
