There is no point in firing flood if you’re not bringing in a play calling QB coach/OC. Otherwise as Bobby says you’re just reshuffling the titanic deck chairs.
-
I’m starting to believe that our personnel across the offensive line is what’s limiting the execution of what this offense should be doing. has arch had bad games absolutely give that kid a running game to execute some play action and a little time in the pocket and I’m gonna venture to say the results are night and day. Then think of how we can use his legs, but he’s not running for his life 90% of the time he drops back

You do after the season. There is nothing on the horizon with this group that you can feel good about. Where is the development? We take flyers on low rated prospects and we will develop them. Fools gold. That 2022 class was it and Banks came ready to go day 1. One guy in Christian Jones isn’t enough to get that much trust. Tackle is a real issue going forward. Oh we are shelling out cash this offseason for new pieces. It’s going to happen. Trust me pressure will be applied and the look of having a Manning get knocked around with what you put in front of him won’t stand. Manning has a real chance to get knocked out against OU and you better believe Venables will go for it.

Changes in personnel wont mask the schematic issues on offense, IMO.
-
I’m not sure firing Flood will remedy the issues. Just my opinion though.
-
CJ’s burner?
-
Won’t happen. I’m afraid Sarkisian will have to have his hand forced before making a decision to fire Flood.
-
@CJ Vogel Do you ever see Chris Del Conte pushing Sark to make any coaching changes? Flood is a great developer of talent, but he's never really put together a complete o-line with the talent he's had. They are always average or falling below average. Milweed hasn't done much developing with the talent he's been given. Something's got to give.
-
You play others like Cruz, Chatman and kibble. Insanity is doing the same thing expecting different results. Get by the season and then portal like crazy. You fire Flood soon.
-
Goosby needs to be more vocal. His body language wasn't good. He needs be a leader out there.

Pretty sure if a guy making a million dollars to find a solution can't there probably isn't a solution to be found during the season.

Who cares if they’re ready? They can grow and can’t be much worse than what we have

And look completely soft is because of this guy. Since he’s come back we have looked softer than Charmin. It’s the only thing that makes since… This post is a joke and if you get mad that’s on you.

Unless Cruz or Kibble are ready, hard to see this getting much better.

We recruit 4-5 OL every year but none besides Goosby are ready to play. It’s not the players it’s the coaching. Hutson is a problem no matter where he plays and so is Robertson. Our OL is soft, don’t understand who to block and often lazy

Chris Simms did stink it up in 2021. Should have subbed Major in earlier!
