Especially when considering Christian Clark and CJ Baxter aren't sure-fire starters either. Baxter had 9 att. for 48 yards and 2 TD in the opener for Kentucky, however. Jason Patterson (UK RB #26) ran for 78 yards on 11 att.

This game is really an indictment on Wisner's ceiling (or lack thereof)......amazing that he ran for 1000 yards in the SEC and is 3rd team on an ACC also ran...

Did we ever find out what Wisners NIL ask was from us or what FSU gave him?

Love Wisner but this has gotta be an indicator Texas was really below the bar at RB last year.

I don't think Wisner has seen a snap this entire game.

I thought the Colin Simmons level impact was hyperbole and he'd be good. But there's a lot of truth to that and it's hard to avoid a player in the middle of the field the same way you can avoid an edge rusher.

Sure he could’ve been that at Texas (and he was given that offer), but he chose to take a bigger paycheck from Florida State. And he never bothered to inform Texas of his decision to go elsewhere via the Portal, and instead decided not to show-up for the team flight to Orlando for the Cheez-it Bowl (after having practiced with this the Texas team throughout bowl prep). Decisions have consequences.
