Once went to a Texas Exes game watching party in NYC for football. Crazy how many UT folks are in NYC. We ran into people coming from other UT game watching events on the subway.

Let's hope the new girls can blend quickly. Some have experience playing together at AAU tournaments. There's familiarity there. Itute is a beast. Just wait and see. I love her game.

CJ and I spent time on last night's livestream looking back at the '06 draft. That's one of two drafts ever in which Texas had two players picked among the first seven selections (VY and Michael Huff, who went No. 7 overall to the Raiders). The only other time it happened was in 2002, when Mike Williams (No. 4 overall to Buffalo) and Quentin Jammer (No. 5 overall to the Chargers) went in the top five.

Yesterday, April 29, marked 20 years to the date that Vince Young was drafted No. 3 overall by the Tennessee Titans in the 2006 NFL Draft. VY wasn't an NFL bust, but his career should've been longer and more prosperous. FJF!
