Did that Indiana iol re sign ? -
Or maybe Vonlane.... PS, I remember a Longhorns player making a great fumble recovery in a big game at the Cotton Bowl Stadium. I was sitting by former Dallas Mayor Ron Kirk on a VIP (not me!) bus back to Downtown after the game. Ron Kirk ( a UT Law grad I think) said it was "perfect that a player named 'Bubba' won the game for Texas!" Hook 'Em!

The current CFB season format just doesn't feel like it's the best college football could offer. Mainly the Championship game happens too late after a long season and the conference championship games seem to only be important to the teams that need to win those games or miss out on the playoffs. Given the current "leadership" of CFB and the demands of the BIG Ten, I'm not optimistic that we'll see significant changes in the near term future.

RIP James Street. On the national TV broadcast of the game at #2 Arkansas on ABC, the late Chris Schenkel called him "Jimmy Street," and made him sound like a junior high kid. He was an outstanding Senior QB and Pitcher for the University of Texas. Some media types called him James "Slick" Street because of his ball handling skills as UT's Wishbone QB and his super confident demeanor. Street played an outstanding game in Fayetteville in December, 1969, leading the #1 Longhorns to the National Championship over the Razorbacks in what was called "The Big Shootout." I was a high school freshman on a losing football team and although I was already a Longhorns fan, after watching that game on TV with my late father, I told him I wanted to go to Texas. Knowing I couldn't play college football at the Southwest Conference level, I just wanted to sit in the Student Section at Memorial Stadium and cheer for Texas and players like James Street. Hook 'Em OTF! -

That was a fun fact that baseball games, no matter how long, only count 3 hours towards a 20 hour limit. -

Tbh I think there gonna struggle more than people think let's be honest you can't bring in 95% transfers and think your gonna just help you need a bit of returning players tbh LSU clearly pushed 3/4 of their existing roster out🥱🥱🥱 -

Respect for Indiana’s coach - looks like he used the eye test of how teams performed at the end of the season instead of just their overall record.

- Top five in OL penalties in the country. - One of the ten worst pass protection OL in the country. - So bad at run blocking in Athens we just gave up. - Flushed five interior OL misevaluations to the portaL - And to fix the problem… we added Dylan Sikorski and are rolling the dice on a redshirt or true freshman to emerge as the answer. That math don’t math. -

Everyone is entitled to their opinions but @Gerry Hamilton is making the podcast nearly unwatchable. Chastising the fans for questioning and complaining about not shoring up the inside of our disastrous oline last year when it was priority number one is just too much. Especially when week one of the portal window was all about the “2-3 OL acquisitions” that we needed at guard. Not that we were good at OL and the redshirt freshman could be the answer. Could a redshirt freshman like one of the Coleman twins be the answer? Of course. Do we know they will be? Absolutely not. And if anything was learning last season it was that all benefit of the doubt needs to be removed from the offensive line roster this coming season. The freshmen on this roster were assembled by the same staff who thought Stroh, Neto and Brooks were the solve at LG last season. They are the same staff that just flushed Cruz, Kibble, Neto, Stroh and Brooks from the program. So forgive us if we don’t think the projects along the redshirt freshman OL are the answer to start against Ohio State in 7 months. -
