OTF Premium SEC Media Days live thread: Thursday
Jeff Howe replied to Jeff Howe's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Château OTF has been shut down. I'm on with Bobby and Rod for Coffee & Football live from the College Football Hall of Fame, and then I'm headed home. John Burrows, who has been doing great work on our social media platforms this week, will be the man charged with grilling Mike Elko and the Aggies this afternoon. -

I didn’t get worried about the class this year and I’m thankful I didn’t but last year I defiantly did🤣

Confused Californian Asks: Why Is A&M Our Rival?
harveycmd replied to Lam Dinh's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I've said it before. We need to cut off the criminal sooners as our "rival." Stop playing them every year. They won't be able to recruit Texas. They'll be where they belong as Arkansas State. Send them straight to purgatory where they belong. We need legitimate home grown rivals like LSU, Georgia and Florida. -
This site posters do a lot better than pissing Bloods

Confused Californian Asks: Why Is A&M Our Rival?
FriendswoodGangsta replied to Lam Dinh's topic in On Texas Football Forum
You grow up next to Aggie families. Sometimes family members decide to go to the other side. Sometimes because they got into one or the others schools. Sometimes uncles, aunts, brothers. Rarely do you know a sooner family, at least when I grew up, they didn't exist. Usually Aggie families are totally Aggie. Kinda country, and they spend every hour of their lives hating and saying stupid jokes about Longhorns only they see as humorous. To not get it is crazy to me. Its a little brother that fights back and you love and hate at the same time. And it is not a horrible school by any means. And... It has taken many of our children that were turned away at Texas that wouldn't have been 20-30 years ago. I have a daughter at both. At least where I was from in South Austin, you only hated OU once a year, and you couldn't wait to hammer the Aggies, and they couldn't wait to play you either. Watching it with your extended family at Thanksgiving time was a big deal, and going was bigger. Pac 10 schools rarely came up in Texas, and nobody really knew where those were either. You never/rarely watched them unless it was a massive game. -
I suspect Beck will regress to the mean, which is much better than his stats last year. One thing is objectively true - his WRs at UGA had really bad years.

This is fact. I still remember old timers telling Aggie jokes as a kid. Fun times -

Who’s collecting the money for all the sites?
-
He was offered a deal but no one actually knows the full amount. Speculation was that it was 8 million. But there is no way to know.

Damn they couldn't use a better photo of him? Lol.

Where the 2026 Class Calls Home (Wednesday Noon)
VaHorn replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Sure, happy to do so. Btw, you are wrong. Every class is mostly Texas recruits. The question is did the other coaches, recruit more players from outside of Texas. If you can’t see the difference, I can’t help you. 2014 - Texas 17, Florida 2, Louisiana 2, Arizona 1, SC 1 2015 - Texas 19, Florida 5, California 1, Maryland 1 , Louisiana 1, New York 1 2016 - Texas 24, Louisiana 4, California 1 2017 - Texas 13, Florida 1, Alabama 1, Mississippi 1, Georgia 1, Oklahoma 1 2018 - Texas 19, California 2, Missouri 2, Louisiana 1, Utah 1, Oklahoma 1 -
I, like many on this board, have been a member (or at least followed them for a period) of all of the major UT recruiting sites. I have read or seen on YouTube or elsewhere all he major players from our own Bobby and Gerry to Ketch, Chip, Eric Nahlin, TSU, etc. and I sincerely believe that OTF covers UT sports as well as or better than all the rest. There are pluses and minuses to all the sites but OTF has far more pluses than all the others.

Listening to Jim Nagy claim the criminals could have a NFL draft pick from every position group next spring makes me wonder if the drugs are flowing more freely in Norman than during the Switzer era or he's setting up Venables.
