  4. You can't have passionate fans without having passionate fans.
  5. Looking forward to another exciting season of women's college softball! It feels like the sport keeps getting more competitive every year, with talented players coming through and programs building stronger rosters. I'm especially interested to see how the transfer portal affects teams heading into 2027 and which younger players step up. Conference matchups should be fun to follow, and I'm sure we'll see a few surprises along the way. Hopefully, this thread stays active with updates, predictions, and plenty of discussion throughout the season. Anyone have early favorites for the Women's College World Series or teams they think could surprise everyone?
  6. Per Chris Carter sportscast: Arch chose UT Sark because Sark committed to convert Arch to a pocket passer. Arch's natural system is RPO / Running Qb. Papa Archie is focused in protecting Arch from injuries. Sark and UT are in a pickle. Per Chris Carter, Arch's is underdeveloped as a pure pocket passer. It could be due to the OL or RB. What do you think?
  7. It seems harder than ever to pick these games. I have no idea anymore. Let's go Miss St, beat the hell out of ou.
  8. Kansas isn't supposed to be that good this year and I don't see TKR taking them from barely a top 25 team to a top 10 team.
  9. They announced that Smothers missed back to back days of practice. They’re simply asking if OTF knows if Wesley got injured during that same time frame.
  10. No, but Terry can play some Edge. He's just more of an interior guy.
  11. Do Wesley and Terry play the same positions?
  12. With the unfortunate timing of Wesley being out maybe J.Terry gets more snaps? Assuming he's good to go. Would love to see him get more snaps.
  13. My guess is you see Vasek, Spence and Orogbo get some more play. Jackson and Umeozulu to most likely start. But guys will need to step up.
  14. I’m sure a lot of that is Golding playing games.
  15. I was not expecting Wesley to be out....also Ole miss injury list is crazy.
  16. Not really. There's plenty of blowouts every week. Before our game with Florida they got blown out twice and before that blew Ole Miss out. I think it's more of a placebo effect.
  17. This is the new age of college football. More games with thinner margins. Well the reality of the SEC.
  18. Granted for Kansas I did not see TKR at all tonight or in this box score. They’re probably top ten with him in the rotation.
  19. LHN quick hit with coach bates recently talking the season
  20. Gird your loins. Texas takes on National Title seeking Vandy next on the road.
  21. I don't know where to sit on this. I didn't think last years team would end up 9-3, thought after the Florida game they were done. They went 5-1 to finish the year, very lucky 5-1 with two OT wins, one blowout loss, an Arky game that felt like it was all over the place and an Aggy win where "he has wheels like Grandpa". But this year it "feels" different. For whatever that means to you. I'll still choose to be optimistic but I'm struggling to see how team is a CFP team or how Sark keeps a job at 7-5. Out of the two options I'd go 7-5. It' just doesn't seem realistic they got 6-0 the rest of the way.
  22. Maybe injury happened in the Florida game. Why would OTF announce an injury.
  23. You could also apply that the other way around that if Ohio State makes their FG and Tennessee gets that score late, this team is 2-4. Works both ways.
