Thankfully, Crossland gets Brock to fly out to right to end the threat.

Johnson steals second base. And now he's on third after Crossland's attempted pickoff throw goes over Mendoza's head and into center field.

Johnson's two-out single keeps the inning alive for OU. None of the Sooners' 12 hits today have been for extra bases.

This is a complete guess on my part, but Larson never looked at Nolan Cain at third base. So, I'll assume he made the read and thought he could make it.

Not sure what someone was thinking with that. Dumb.

That's not the first time Larson has had issues running the bases. If he went on his own, he's got to know that it's better to keep yourself in scoring position with Tinney coming up.

If Nolan Cain told Larson to go, he should be reprimanded. That was a terrible decision.
