If I’m Sark, I want another bite at the apple with Mikey Bennett. Get word to him that Texas is about to have an elite offense and he can be part of that. Present him a new case beyond the money and the campus and UT that he’s not likely to find, even at Oregon and Indiana. He’s not gonna be blocking for a better qb and two better RBs anywhere. That seems like an important differentiator

I bet sark will make calls during the dead period to agents and get a list of 10 OL guys wanting a check and will take 3 at least. Now with the skill positions in this last week is a lot easier.

Here what we have OL wise right now. LT-Goosby C-Robertson RT-Baker (I like this core 3) I would love to get some people movers at the guard spots. Obviously I’m sure Texas is looking for starter level talent.

The 2nd team QB is starting, the first string is not. Duvonta Smith is doing well. Waddle has fallen off. Robinson, Harris both backups after being disappointing. Dickerson is probably the only lineman who hasn’t disappointed. Who else?

Has Emaree Winston portaled? I think/hope he’ll be a factor at TE next year if not

WR and RB’s definitely all upgraded. Lockett your 4th receiver, cooper or Simon 4th back. o line stays healthy is the key along with someone emerging.

agree, need OL and ILB and OLB. Lance Jackson is not a 3-4 OLB(overhang), he is better for 4 man fronts, 5 and 3 tech in nascar. I think Zina can but not too sure. maybe in year 1, Wesley could but not sure on that also. Spence can do both but i think we need another body. Oragbo , if healthy and 8 months to get ready can hopefully get a few snaps.

Watching the Oregon - Indiana game late and there's a pass aimed at DM, with a safety zeroing in on his chest - he short arms it, barely tries. The announcer says something like "he didn't seem invested in trying to catch that one with the DB looming". And I thought "we dodged a bullet when Moore went to Oregon".

C Robertson wasn't coming back unless we needed him. TX has only 1 OL transfer to TX so far. Doubting we add Wiscy OL Brunner, maybe Indiana. Ditto Yale OL Bennett, Oregon and Indiana battling for him. C Cruz transferred. Texas needs Robertson. Good to have him coming back. Should be a special upcoming season.
