    Apologies to Javonne. I'll accept apologies from Longhorns fans who liked the look of the black socks and black cleats. Personally, my least favorite uni piece. Otoh, I really liked the Long Burnt Orange socks that the Horns wore in the late '60s era... especially the 1969 Natty team. I remember reading that Coach Royal insisted that the team wear the socks with the black shoes. He said his team's uniforms looked incomplete without the Burnt Orange socks. Hook 'Em!

    Thanks! I totally forgot about that... and the way they tried like heck to keep Lawrence Phillips eligible. Oh, well. I lived in Wyoming for a few years near the Colorado border and until moving there I didn't realize how much CU despises NU.

    I just recently watched a YouTube video that was pretty funny a couple days ago. Called something like Top 5 Bagman stories of college football. Can’t remember the name of the channel but they went in pretty hard on the Aggies and it was hilarious.
