Sark eyeing NFL per report
Bunk Moreland replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
If we’re being real, Sark is probably coming to the realization that he can’t be the coach he wants to be in college and win at the highest level. He’s always said he’s “obsessed” with the job, but the lack of attention to this roster in the offseason suggests a strong whiff of complacency. I think he’s probably realizing that he’s taken this program as far as he can. And if we’re being real, he probably has. I’m grateful for Sark—he brought this program back to near greatness. But we might need fresh blood to get to the promise land. Marcus Freeman is definitely the answer if we can get him. -
Sark eyeing NFL per report

Who do we want?? -
Any hope that these rumours could be true and offensive genius Sark will be off our hands for zero buyout?
-
This the worst offense in power 4?
-
3rd Q opening drive.. 3rd & 6, and Moore is in motion with his arms up and wandering what is supposed to be going on with the play. there is a massive disconnect in the program. defense is finally showing fatigue/cracks of having to play with such a terrible offense.

Texas @ Mississippi State Score Predictions

38-21 Ms State. -
This is not only a bad offense. He’s calling really bad place mind you we all are watching from our living rooms or some from the stands but it’s abysmal and the sheer fact that number 79 is in the rotation holy cow… If KyleFlood has a job tomorrow shame on Sark.

This the offense the nfl wants?

Curious, how would watching in a QuadBox on YouTube affect ratings or is it still Neilson households only?

He took a 7th round QB and was in the CFB 2 years in a row. He just had a bunch of OL drafted. I bet NFL teams don’t evaluate coaches like we do like they don’t evaluate players like we do. -

I don’t see anything definitive about Sexton’s statement. He said only that Sark is focused on coaching the longhorns. He didn’t say Sark was interested in staying at Texas. -

i cant believe an NFL team would be interested. it’s not like he is developing qbs here or lighting up the scoreboards offensively -
Right. Sure.

That’s like asking a politician to tell the truth🤣 -
I know Gerry. I was joking around. Dianna Russini should not share this unless there is a credited source. If someone in Sark’s circle is sharing this… they need to own it.

Sark Update/Sexton releases statement
Glass Joe replied to Connor Vaughn's topic in On Texas Football Forum
It’s worth noting the precise words of the reporters tweet (article) - she was told THAT representatives of Sark reached out to NFL teams. The reporter was not told this BY representatives of Sark. This implies the info came for NFL exec circles, NOT directly from the representatives of Sark. If her words are accurate, the leak wasn’t from Sexton or other college sources, instead the leak came from the NFL gossip circle sources. So all the angst toward Sark, Sexton, et al regarding the timing of the leak is likely misplaced (hence, putting out a press release denial within hours). Obviously, this doesn’t change the substance or veracity of the report, it just means the source of the leak wasn’t Sexton nor a Sark-approved leak. I mention this because IF this leak was from a Sark-approved source, the timing would have me furious as a Texas fan, booster, or administrator. Furious enough to pack Sark’s bags for him. -
