  1. Past hour
  2. also, @Gerry Hamilton never passed a dead horse he didn't want to beat after a loss. Jeez.
  3. Maybe you should ask why the performance last weekend was less inspiring than the opener.
  4. This is the positivity thread, if you want to DM me I’ll tell you why.
  5. If true I apologize for missing the sarcasm, but the other points he makes about our IOL, Arch and Endries were all pretty much what every one seemed to expect ...
  6. You would think, but if it’s true this hire was made on 9/11, I’m curious why they waited until they had played a couple of games into the season to make this hire.
  7. At one point during the game I started to wonder "why do our highly rated freshman WRs like Ffrench and Lockett (ranked # 9 and # 2 in the class) sit because they haven't learned our system while Wilson (# 😎 is playing like an All-Conference dude in his first game?" (edit: for some reason trying to type hashtag 8 in ( ) brings up the sunny emoji - lol) Maybe our system is too complicated?
  8. There’s no “circle of trust” in Gainesville that’s for sure

  10. We have a new Oline coach to help so that’s a positive. It also speaks to where Flood is right now.
  11. I assume that was sarcasm regarding how good Wingo was.
  12. This is absurd, even delusional. Jeremiah Smith and Ryan Williams were light years better by any metric.
  13. We just got our ass kicked by a true freshman receiver.
  14. Good catch, won’t let me edit.
  15. Goosby is in his third year in the program.
  16. At least we have a side of football to go along with our beers and glizzys
  17. Take my advice and use the ignore feature to your advantage with that guy
  18. Positivity. The pass protection problem, if you believe in PFF grades, is not widespread. LG and RB were the issues. Is that fixable? Maybe Baxter returns and handles part of it. There are options to make LG serviceable.
  19. That whole “we’re young” narrative only popped up after the results didn’t meet preseason expectations. Nobody was calling this offense young in August, if someone had suggested we’d struggle because of youth, they’d have been laughed off the board. In fact, we were going to be better offensively because the players being inserted brought more physicality up front from G,C,G, Arch was more dynamic than Ewers, Wingo was the best freshman WR in the country just didn’t get much opportunity and Endries was a plug and play vet that would have a huge impact, etc. Offensive starters: QB – 3rd yr RBs – Baxter (3rd), Wisner (3rd), Clark (2nd) WRs – Moore (3rd), Wingo (2nd), Livingstone (2nd) OL – LT (2nd), LG (3rd), C (4th), RG (4th), RT (2nd) TEs – Endries (3rd), Washington (2nd) That’s 2 fourth-years, 5 third-years, and 4 second year players. Far from young.
  20. Today
  21. I keep hearing everyone say we have a young team. We have some new players stepping into starting roles but are we really that young if many of our players starting on offense and defense are in year 3?
  22. If he was that good he’d be coaching at not a QC.
  23. If you worked for Harbaugh for that long as an OL coach, I’d wager he’s good. Didn’t make much difference last week though, granted no idea how much of a voice he has or how much he can change in a few weeks. Can’t hurt having someone on staff with his experience.
  24. Being reported that Tim Drevno was hired as a consultant to help OL on 9/11 🤔. Has ties to Sark from USC worked under Harbaugh has a decent resume other places. Next OL coach in waiting or... Interesting very interesting!
  25. Alright obviously something needs to change and needs to change fast. I don’t know what the solution will be and how good of a solution we will see come Saturday but there has to be something positive coming out of it. I mean even if the running backs as a whole manage to get 60 plus yards Saturday, which is still pretty pitiful, it will be an improvement that needs to happen. I don’t know if they change personnel or if that’s even the problem with the line. They just look like they don’t give a rats ass to be physical. I don’t know if this game was a fluke because there has been some signs of life in our line, but if memory serves correct I remember Cole Hutson and DJ Campbell bullying the Alabama front in there sophomore seasons. Where did that fire and intensity go? Those two should be the undoubtedly the BEST we have right now on the line and I’m not saying they aren’t because half the time I see Hutson on someone or on the ground by himself and Campbell trying to fight someone down the field. So they still have that fire in them without a doubt but they need to translate that to their younger teammates on the line especially the Left Guard position which still remains the BIGGEST AND MOST promblematic position of this offensive. I honestly feel once they get that problem solved and I hope it’s fast, the offense WILL be better. Now onto the running backs. No one can create space for themselves. I know it is a banged up room right now and inexperienced and the line isn’t helping at all with those problems, but I know for a fact these players are too talented to not be patient enough to hit holes and just run outside to traffic. Again I do think most of the run games problems are to do with line play but it is still not nowhere near acceptable for Texas’ standard. Hopefully we see signs of life and emotion against OU, and I truly think we will. These players are too damn talented not too. Hook’Em!
