  1. Past hour
  2. What was it something like 7 of their defensive starters were in their freshmen or sophomore season last year?
  3. Lots of talent on that defense but also lot of bad habits and tackling. Will be interesting to see first game with a new d coordinator against Nuss.
  4. And its so great that Texas is finally, finally consistently playing in this sandbox, instead of a one off year here or there when the stars align... 🤘
  5. It’s unfortunate that Miami and Virginia Tech were on the way down when they joined the league 20 years ago. There was that point in ‘97 when North Carolina and Florida State were as talented as anyone in the country.
  6. I would bet Clemson to beat LSU, especially with that game at home. LSU and Nussmeier struggled heavily against teams with talented front sevens and Clemson should have one of the better fronts in the country this year. Which might be surprising to some given how easily Texas wa sable to move them around last year.
  7. They had major problems on defense last year and I’m not the biggest Tom Allen fan. Their talent should be able to make up for that because the ACC is bad. Offense should be fun.
  8. The TCU-Georgia title game should’ve told the country all it needed to know about the difference in the LOS talent between the two conferences. The SEC and Big Ten are so far ahead of the other conferences because of LOS talent.
  9. I thought Cooper Beebe would end that drought in 2024. Turns out his arms were incredibly short in comparison to other prospects. But he has turned into quite the center for the Cowboys after being selected in the 3rd.
  10. That is the last time the Big12 had an offensive linemen drafted in the first round from a program other than OU, Texas or TAMU. Outside of those teams, Big12 has had 5 OL drafted in the first round this millennium. We all know the OL draft woes Texas has had- yet Texas has still had more first round OL this Millenium than any current or former Big12 program other than OU or TAMU (3: Kelvin Banks, Leonard Davis, Mike Williams). It's quite clear the NFL doesn't think highly Big12 offensive lines.
  11. They may be early on Clemson, but Clemson has a QB who could be big-time, and that's extremely important. Not hard to set a high floor for a team with a top-level signal caller.
  12. He saw that Ojo camp tape and wants to dominate practices!
  13. Clemson is easily the favorite but people are putting the cart before the horse with them. They squeaked by a couple of bad (some very bad) teams last year and I wouldn’t be surprised to see them trip up once or twice in conference. Then they have LSU and USCe OOC
  14. Whom OU hires will determine OU's future in athletics. Castiglione was the reason for Riley leaving and Venables hiring. The AD hire is critical for OU's future in the SEC.
  15. Guyton is a reclass candidate too.
  16. Today
  17. Did they just blitzkrieg the nation with deals before the house settlement? Would be a savvy move if so.
  18. Why I put a $100 on Cade to win the Heisman at 10-1. He might be responsible for 50+ TD’s this fall in that league.
  19. Outside of Clemson, when was the last time the ACC was any good? 1987?
  20. Total stud. Top player in the country imo. Texas had not offered.
  21. We live in strange times. https://x.com/rivals/status/1942255523983966700?s=46
  22. Again, as expected https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/45658616/2025-acc-college-football-projections-preview
  23. I wouldn't read that deep into it. I don't think its about the schools that we are perceiving they are disrespecting, its more about themselves and the schools they are committing too. Is it a bit narcissistic? Yeah, but we are also talking about 17 year olds.
