  1. Past hour
  2. Obviously it was a disappointing end, but we saw growth and improvement in year two. We got to root for the Horns in the CWS. I’m excited about next year. Big offseason coming up.
  3. Well, at least they won one game. The last couple of times we have come it has been 2 and barbecue. Pitching may be a bit better next year and let's hope the roster is a better hitting roster next year with a bit more overall power and more guys who can hit 300 and not below 250.
  4. Was just a bad matchup, For whatever reason every Georgia pitcher turned into Satchel paige against us, Do believe Texas needs more hitters who can make contact and put the ball in play. With Volantis, Cozart, And several good looking freshman the pitching next year should be very good and Pack and A Rod give us a good hitting nucleus, Just to to win some portal battles and sign another strong high school class and a return to Omaha is certainly possible
  5. These Georgia games were so damn frustrating. Our pitching shut them down. The first gene was horrible stumbles. Tinney with the two 3rd strikes throws geez. Players running into each other. Just sloppy. So disappointing but the season was a success getting to Omaha. At least we shut down their superstar catcher. Just hurts because I really think if we beat GA this thing was winnable.
  6. That's it for Schloss and for the 2026 Texas baseball season.
  7. On challenging the play at the plate and the tag-up, Schloss said the tag-up wasn't initially reviewable. Schloss isn't even sure how he ended up with another review, but the crew took a look at it. "Thankfully," he said, "we got to challenge three times."
  8. This Offense was so terrible and anemic vs Georgia makes you want to throw up 😡😡😡😡 where the heck was the offense that thumped Bama!!! Heck OU didn't struggle to hit off Georgia 🙄
  9. Schloss hasn't gotten to talk to the team yet. He wants to gather himself and think about what he's going to say.
  10. Schloss: "You'd think the kids that are at home... You'd think they'd want to play in the College World Series for teams like Texas."
  11. Schloss on trying to build on a trip to Omaha: "We've got to get home. We've got a lot of work to do."
  12. Schloss said Georgia had Vigue where they wanted him in the first inning. He liked having Mendoza up there, but he chased a pitch out of the strike zone and Vigue locked in from there.
  13. Schloss: "We didn't execute well on offense and Georgia's pitching was outstanding."
  14. On the Pendergrass overturned catch, Schloss said all catch/non-catch plays should be reviewed. "When I saw the replay, I saw where it could go both ways," he said. "That's just the breaks. It wasn't our night."
  15. Luke “Shove God” Harrison fought the last half of the season.
  16. "It's meant everything to me," Tinney said of what it means to wear the Texas uniform. "I truly believe the coaching staff here changed my life," he said. "I'm just extremely grateful."
  17. Harrison: "There's no doubt that the standard will continue to get raised."
  18. Harrison on where the program is as he leaves: "I see it as just getting started."
  19. Do we need to make a change with our hitting coach?
  20. Harrison said he told the team earlier this year that if he didn't make it to Omaha, his time as a Longhorn would be a failure. "A couple of things didn't go our way," he said, but he's proud that the Longhorns got to Omaha. "I'll remember this time with a smile forever," he said.
