I don’t see the attraction to kiffin at all. They will win, But never the big games or see the playoffs.
-
Hearing rumblings that Florida has offered kiffin an annual of $13.5 Million a year, which would make kiffin the highest paid coach in CFB. I don’t see him turning that down. But $13.5M for a coach that hasn’t even had a playoff appearance?

Interesting take. Fwiw I retired from one of the Big Oil companies and over 35 years worked for 3 of them. Of the many supervisors/bosses I worked for, the brightest, most talented one I had was a BS and MS from Notre Dame (and a Golf scholarship) and a PhD in Nuclear Engineering from Florida. He liked ND, but he loved UF. Best wishes and Hook 'Em!

I know there are elaborate protocols for measuring height in NBA including multiple certifications, and I know that Robinson and Duncan have probably lost an inch or so from their prime, but c'mon... -

Having a dynasty again will be difficult because of the potential feet issues that could come with being that tall. Each championship requires a lot of playoff games year after year. That’s a lot more wear and tear on the body. -
I love t hese write ups, always a good read. Though I Think Arch was sacked 3 times not 5, Texas D sacked Boley 5 times. Not sure why we didn't see more Clark, could be because he's not reading the plays properly. Saw on IT's 22 look, that he's not seeing the lanes he's supposed to hit but who knows. Maybe Simon could get some run? Though if Baxter is back, probably not. I'm just not sure what Sark is thinking sometimes. The O is struggling, adjust to what they do well and let them do something. If we have a repeat performance this week, Miss State will punish us for it and then to have to force out D to play 80+ snaps, almost 40 minutes two weeks in a row and then back that up with a game against Vandy? Yikes. Anyway, we'll see how it pans out. Hopefully Sark has learned his lesson and will game plan accordingly.

He looked physically stronger and more assertive last night than he ever did the first two years. Made AD (a 5x All-Defense selection) look like a helpless JAG out there. If he’s gonna do that to AD and Lively, he’s gonna go for 60+ a couple times this year against some of the smaller, weaker defending teams. Last night was one of the most breathtaking individual performances I’ve ever seen. Just the size and skill set and ability to influence everything whenever he’s on the court. Special special player. -

I was thinking he reminds me of Wilt from early in his career. Watch Wilt on YouTube and you will see what I mean. Wilt was more nimble and moved like a small forward and had a better all around game but Wemby looks like the real deal. -

...and if I recall correctly, most of those years in NFL were in a zone running scheme? -

Looks like Ohio State is the favourite according to different websites but I suppose you gotta shoot your shot, right? -
I'm not sure, but it sounds like a typical Jackie Sherrill stunt.

Was that the castration game? LOL - Yesterday

The last time Texas visited Starkville was 1991 and the coach was David McWilliams. It was a 13-6 loss and I was there, soaked from a 1st quarter rain.

From the highlights, he didn't take many treys. He worked in the paint and inside. That is what he should do. I don't know if he will continue to resist putting up 10 shots from out, but if he does, count that as growth, whether it was his sole decision or whether the coaches or his time with Olajuwon influenced him. The highlights also showed Castle to advantage. They have something going together. -

People forget or never knew? The key for such a player, really any player, is to be in the right spot for their profile and skill. -

That’s lofty goal, but they can get a serviceable goal if need be. Reed and Sheppard have a lot of room left to grow. Sleep on Sengun and Jabari Smith if you want. Wemby gotta stay healthy.
