If Sark Misses the Playoffs this Season
watty7796 replied to AustinsTruth's topic in On Texas Football Forum
As Bobby would say...dont throw the baby out with the bathwater...i agree with that statement but i dont think you should let the turds continue to float around the baby either. Get a real OC that Sark can bounce and balance off of and get a real special teams coach. It would also be highly recommended to get a coach to take care of GCG play. Flood can coach tackles as hes proven. -
24-team playoff nearly a reality

Agree MB. 16 should be the move. Oh well. -
37-17 Horns...defense puts this out of reach with 3 turnovers. Offense averages start of drives at the Texas 37. Juluke reminds his backs how soft they were last year. 3 rbs at 50+ yards from los.
-
Love the numbers but I wish he played against better opposition. Iron sharpens iron.
-
Honest question...how has Muschamps style of defense improved opportunities for the Texas offense?? Imho this defense has spent less time on the field per drive than any i can remember from pks time on the 40. If this offense would quit going 3 and out...even a 6 or 9 play drive, by the 4th quarter most defenses would be gassed. Long season and the more you are able to save starter reps the better off youll be late in the season as they will have more tread on the tires. To make a car analogy rotate tires so no 1 set gets worn out early. Offense and ST need to start carrying their water.

This. Ruining it

Exactly. The early rounds are basically a bowl game that means something. More meaningful games, the better.

Pasadena has some short and wide dlinemen. They did not look very agile or fast when Friendswood played them. All LWC needs to do each handoff is make one guy miss who probably never got within 5 yards of him. They are marginally better than Ft Bend Dulles. Good stat padding for LWC but I am torn between admiring the scrappiness of the Pasadena kids for playing and the utter frustration and defeated despair they must feel at the end of a game. They do not have many kids either which means the ones who do play are it.

Aggy still wouldn’t make a 24 team playoff this season, ou neither hahahahahah -
10 carries, 361, 7 TD
-
I wonder if Coach Randle has the returners go back to the 5 and run outta bounds to get LWC more yards like I used to do in Tecmo SuperBowl.
-
They lost by 53 in the first half so I believe it haha
-
So you are gonna quit watching just because the playoffs are going to 24 teams? OK. Cool.
-
Pasadena is very, very, very bad ... but yes Their average district loss is over 54 points per game
- Today
-
Per the Vype broadcast: 9 carries 314 yards 6 TDs Wowza
-
Not really, I still watch a lot of CFB but I guess you'd know more about me than I do, I guess.
-
Great post. I think the volatility of ST outcomes is letting Sark and his critics both have positions to argue from. But I just can’t understand why a team with an athletic advantage or match with every team it plays would accept volatility in ST. ST should be an advantage with the talented depth at Texas.

Texas Soccer- The New Era on the Horizon

Out of the ongoing fall sports, this team is the most fun to watch rn. Bates was a fantastic hire by CDC and co. -
It's hilarious when people say they won't watch or follow CFB anymore when playoffs expand to 24. I heard the same thing ever portal and NIL. Stadiums are full and tv viewershipare at all time highs. LOL
-
Odd. If this makes you not watch you are probably about done anyways for whatever reason.

Same. I know a lot of people don’t care about conference championship games or winning conference titles (just make the CFP, right), but it would be cool for Texas to get to and win the last ever SEC Championship Game over Georgia. Would be so fitting. At least you have some team hardware to show for the Manning era if you don’t win a natty. Of course, that seems like a tall task at the moment. -

Folks whatever we say matters zero. It is a done deal without a doubt. Just tieing up loose ends, and next season 24 it is. So with this being the last SEC Championship game, hopefully we get a shot again. To make up for the fiasco 2 years ago👍
