  1. Past hour
  2. Take that run sh*t to the other side of the field.
  3. That got me all in my feels. As a parent I can relate to the emotional trauma you went through as you watched Colt fight his battle. I’m so glad that he has made a full recovery. ❤️‍🩹
  4. Because the guy(s) that pay(s) them are not on the field making those plays. It makes sense. Most people I know watch these games to watch the players, not the coaches or front office executives (Nico Harrison might have something to say about that though).
  5. Isn't that the case with most franchise/HOF level QBs?
  6. Given his size, not saying he'll be this good, but he reminds me of Jonathan Allen.
  7. Changes direction very well. I imagine getting hit by him has to feel like a truck. Strong hands
  8. Awesome stuff man. God is great, and you and your wife are clearly great parents to have raised a son like Colt. Very happy that y’all are in a better place now after the medical scares.
  9. I think some of those quarterbacks will be getting restraining orders against him.
  10. Today
  11. Thanks for posting this Blake. Back during your ordeal with your son I knew it was a serious situation but I didn't realize just how serious it was. Blessings to you and your family and your special son. I live 20 miles SW of downtown Fort Worth and since I'm retired I walk several miles a day six days a week. Almost every day while I'm out walking on the hike and bike trails near Benbrook Lake I notice the Careflite helicopters flying from the Southwest to the Fort Worth Medical District where Cook's Children's Hospital is located. Just last weekend I saw the Careflite helicopter flying faster than normal on a beeline to the Northeast. I thought "this one must be serious" and held a brief thought and prayer. Now that I have read about your son Colt I have an even greater appreciation for those flights and all the caring people involved and all the medical professionals at the hospitals in the Medical District. All best wishes to you and your family. .
  12. Strong kid. Benching 405 in January of his sophomore season.
  13. Texas has offered 2027 EDGE Ricardo Parker out of Pratville High School in Alabama. The Longhorns become the first SEC offer for Parker and just the second offer overall after Troy offered back in January. Parker is listed at 6-foot-3-inches and 290 pounds currently. The Texas staff remains on the road this week.
  14. Bobby -- Thanks for posting about Barryn Sorrell from his Economics professor. He's a credit to the Longhorns and the University. Kudos to the Professor. I had several professors at UT undergrad and graduate school that I appreciated and never forgot. The ones who cared about their students far outnumbered the few didn't. Your OTF group chat folks have gotten to know Mr Sorrell through Coffee and Football. As a parent of a recent UT graduate myself, I have enjoyed seeing his interest in his son's achievements on the field and in the classroom. Hook 'Em!

  16. Awesome story! Blake, let me know when Colt is ready for me to strike him out!
  17. 17 year old kid... he gets a bit of grace, imo... race aside.
  18. I agree... but its also wild that qb is more of the face of the franchise than the guy that pays him...🤣🤣🤦🏿‍♂️
  19. Rob got greif... Ray lost his career. Dana slapped the dog 💩 outta his wife and got a handshake from Donnie... who we know is the holy grail of Christians today. Craig Hodges handed the president a letter and disappeared. I can't use any black owners from these sports leagues for comparisons... they're aren't any available. I can say with confidence... he definitely would've gotten more than "grief"....🤷🏿‍♂️
  20. I agree with most of what you said here, but I'd like to highlight a few things. Yes, Robert Kraft did face some scrutiny, but the level of scrutiny he received, compared to that of a Kapernik or a DeShaun Watson, isn't comparable, at all.... and I think that's the problem. Robert Kraft is the owner of a franchise. All I heard was about the guaranteed $240 million he didnt deserve... but how much did Mr.Kraft make that he "didn't deserve" and other than a fine, what did he face? Chad Wheeler beat a woman unconscious. Ray Rices' transgressions in that elevator... which one was covered more? I only highlight these items because this, unfortunately, is the only way they change. Media is powerful, and the perceptions of many can be skewed depending on how they are shaped by the narratives provided. Wrong is wrong...doesn't matter who does it.
  21. Hugs for all! Amazing story, so glad it’s a happy one.
