@CJ Vogel Our next WR coach if jackson goes? Edit: Nevermind got excited and just saw that people are saying he's not a good developer of talent -
Too much wear and tear and possible injuries not fair.

5'7'' coming off a season ending injury?! I'm not getting paid 8 figures like Sark does but even I don't think that would be a good idea. I get getting him for depth/experience along with an RB1 type of guy, but still... -
Travis Kelce right after him literally said Cleveland Heights, Ohio.

There will be bigger fish. On top of that, White only listed at 5’7” is a reason for hesitancy. -

Lot of tackles here, are we planning on taking any? Thought we'd focus on IOL if Goosby comes back since we have baker, cojoe and big nick -

Unless there are bigger fish at RB that we are waiting on, would really love to see us in the mix here. -

To each their own. I believe he was on the sideline for a recent game. He still supports Texas.

A name that was thrown out last year after Texas hired Chad Scott. White missed the majority of 2025 due to injury, but had been an electrifying option at WVU in 2024. IF Texas opts to take 2 backs, depending on the decision of Wisner, I could see this being an option. Shoot, even in a Niblett-esque role, I could see this being an option. -
Anyone else on here mildly offended that Xavier does not acknowledge UT when doing his intro on Sunday Night Football? He was the only player for either the Chiefs or Texans not to name his school in his intro. It is the second time I have noticed it as he did the same during the Thanksgiving day game with the Cowboys. He merely introduces himself as from Fresno, CA. Not sure what the back story is there.....

Especially when it comes to QBs when it's Dia's or KJ's time and everyone else after that. QB is a developmental position more than any other. They have to play to get better.

I 100% agree. Gone are the days where players and their families didn't read message boards. We have message board genius posting dumb takes on twitter/x. If you have a need to talk ill of a player phone a friend. Stop posting it on the internet. We the fans are being used by other teams to negatively recruit against us. For the most part I think coaches are fair game but we could use some restraint with our selection of words or how we come across. Help your team win

I think some people need to just eat some good food on gameday and stay off the internet on gameday.

Just like the team has to do some introspection and be honest with how they did for the whole season and what they need to work on. We as fans need to do the same thing. I saw too many fans this season way to quick to jump ship and start bashing players, asking for coaches to be fired (Including Sark), and just being negative nellies. We are all frustrated by how the season went, nobody more so than the players and coaches, but we also need to realize that our actions matter. The team sees this stuff, hears this stuff and it doesn't help anything. At the end of the day, the team has a job to go out there and produce, but we also have a job to support them and help them. We need to give them reasons to keep that Texas Fight going. I'm not saying to be pom pom rah rah. You can be critical without being mean spirited. People were commenting like the coaches are out here just letting the players do whatever they want, and the players aren't working their asses off to be better. Almost every coach on our staff has skins on the wall to show why they belong here. They have shown us the past 5 seasons they can do the job, i doubt they woke up one morning and just decided to stop coaching up the players. This is a community and we parents of the players that see how we are acting. I would ask that people really think about how they would want to see others talking about their kids. Would you even accept your own family bashing your kids the way that people bash on here? We are Texas! Not only should Texas teams set the standard for their performance, but we need set the standard for our support. Love all of the people in OTF and what everyone brings to the conversations! Let's bring the fire for 2026!

Players With New Agent: Niblett, Owens, Vasek

I disagree. The added games would increase their SOS to respectable/on par level with P4. Plus, they are probably going to lose against the first P4 team they play in the CFP. At least the guys on those teams could potentially have two more fun games together rather than dogwalked by the P4 team. It would be more rewarding for those teams to be proven to be the best G5 and have a championship to show for it. It would be a mix of the FCS and FBS championship models for the G6. FCS plays 5 playoff rounds + conference championships.

I like 16 teams with no AQs... or if there are AQs then putting a threshold requirement on it (must be ranked, maybe in top 20?)... But ultimately I think 16 teams is the ultimate solve, since there seems to be about 14/15 playoff quality teams each year (last year bama/USC/Ole Miss woulda got in, this year texas/ND/Vandy gets in) and then can give the G5 a charity. Id rather let in one team not worthy than leave 2-3 teams that are worthy out.. especially since bowls are now worthless.. Dont need to add any additional weeks, just get rid of the byes. Other idea I like is make a G5 playoff... why do they need to be with the big boys.
