  1. Past hour
  2. You know the tortilla-throwing masses in Lubbock are going to be PISSED
  3. I feel like you have to include IU AND Cincy in that too. There’s no way they didn’t know about this. I agree it’s worse than SMU especially in the day and age of NIL and rev share. They broke the rules and deserved to be punished, but they weren’t the only ones doing exactly the same thing. Ahem, Miami, Florida State, OU, TAMU to name a few. This isn’t tampering or giving someone’s mom a house this is one individual who screwed up and Tech is willing to risk all credibility and integrity they have trying to get a player back that should be banned for life. It’s not about the kid at this point it’s about what their actions show the world and the other players. Take care of the kid if he’s really struggling that bad, but the best live and care is accountability for your actions. You committed a cardinal sin in sport, and you must suffer the consequences. At no point has anyone ever argued that the NCAA’s stanch on gambling is too harsh or antiquated.
  4. I’m not girding my loins this year Gerry. I’m all in on the 2026 football season.
  5. I guess all Pete Rose had to do was sue the MLB was banned for life for betting on games
  6. How would you feel if you learned that some Texas starting player had bet on that NC game against Alabama? Not good at all. This cannot be allowed to stand.
  7. By Monday morning things could become very clear. Sports will either be concluding or at least partially complete, giving us an idea of the floor for Texas’ score. It’ll also be clear how Stanford and Texas track may look. Our floor could be above Stanfords ceiling at that point.
  8. I mean how does the NCAA not investigate Tx Tech at this point after these comments and actions. Did they intentionally try to cover up their acquisition of someone who bet on his own team (the Pete rose sin), and now is the institution trying to circumvent the NCAA on protecting the literal integrity of sports? This is lowkey worse than what SMU did.
  9. Yesterday
  10. This could/should backfire into Cody Campbell's and Yormack's face..... Every Big 10/SEC team should call out this hypocrisy and agree to never schedule these clowns again in any sport and black ball them from the super conferences. No one cares about Tech and its best to ignore them - and now we have a legit reason to do so
  11. This is shameful and self-serving on so many levels…..I just want to puke! Zero class. This institution doesn’t deserve a seat at the big table. Hard not to wish ill will
  12. Yearly live look in at his squads and him post cotton bowl belt to ass experience
  13. Yet tech voted for these very bylaws last November. Ethically bankrupt gutter school.
  14. Beat me to it
