  1. Past hour
  2. We’ve seen other coaches appear to hit a ceiling only to dig deep, let that desire to win fire them up, make necessary changes, and take the NC. Day comes to mind. Sark is only in year 5 and Texas is in a position to win in the coming years. This is what pisses me off about sark if he leaves. Everything is in place to win. Just make some basic changes. But to bail on a team at this stage, after you’ve previously said you like being at Texas and you’re focused on winning the national championship is cowardly. I don’t care about his reasons; they’re incompatible with Texas goals now. The problem is that the stench from sark’s fart is going to linger over this team and recruiting for the rest of this season and into the offseason.
  3. Well, Freeman was the National Coach of the Year in 2024 Coached ND to the NC game One of the youngest head coaches to ever coach in an NC game Three things he’s got on Sark, and a lot of other coaches at the same age See how it all plays out over time, but he’s off to a great start … better than most.
  4. 5. 4th and 13 of the Mississippi miracle ?
  6. Good for you. Freeman walks around with his pecs flexing. As a "head coach," Sark v Freeman be like Kobe v Vince Carter.
  7. As a head coach! Specifically as a head coach is what I said.
  8. ND and and Freeman ain't nothing. This is crazy. Sark was scheming and winning titles when he was 30. Freeman never done nothing but wear tight shirts.
  9. Today
  10. I would say first, it's very difficult to win a NC. And now in a real playoff its going to be harder than ever. So he got the Notre Dame head coaching job at 36 years old, and in three years had ND in the National Title game with zero previous head coaching experience. And he did it with tremendous coaching, and knowing who to hire. His teams play the right way for me. He's proving to be a very good evaluator and developer in his first college gig, and one with a lot of pressure. He's light years better as a HC early in his career vs. Sark IMO. Like not even close. I really believe he's built so well for current CFB and as a leader of a program for the next 9-10 years. Does that guarantee and NC? Not in todays day and age of headed to 16 team playoff and eventually probably 20-24 teams playoff years from now.
  11. No regrets on either side of that one. Bo is having a lot of fun in the NFL.
  12. This board has been overrun with casuals.
  13. He hasn’t done it yet
  14. When Bo left Texas, the NIL allocation wasn't there on the DL in HS or portal recruiting the way it is now. I think Bo leaving, in a weird way, is what pushed Sark to make the needed change in DL NIL allocation.
  15. Ryan Niblett is now leading the nation in punt return average yardage (25.5 yards) and tied for second with 2 punt returns for TDs (leader, Vicari Swain, has 3).
  16. Hopefully Wingo continues to mature and refine his craft this offseason. Too gifted to be winging it out there.
  17. Definitely. He was blocking 25 yards downfield on the Wingo 60 yard catch and run to start the game.
  18. Emmett made a great catch but he was also blocking his tail off several times. I think he is our best blocker WR which we have needed.
  19. Bo is with the Saints. LOL
  20. Lol. Thanks CJ. I obviously don't follow LSU enough but sounds like he saw this coming, huh?
  21. Bo jumped ship already from LSU. He has been with the New Orleans Saints since February.
  22. So, the way Kenny B has recruited both in the portal and HS is probably the best thing going for this team. That deep group in both edge rushers and interior dline has proven to be a great strength. Kanu, Shaw, Watson, January, and Terry are all making plays and seem to compliment each other well. I am not saying we should have any regret about Bo Davis leaving. I am, however, wondering how much Bo Davis regrets leaving to jump on a disasterous sinking ship.
  23. If Wingo could catch he would have had 50 more yards
  24. I’ve said it for a while now, Sark has topped out as a college program builder. He can take you from bad to good and even really good. But taking you from really good to great takes a special kind of coach, the kind that I don’t believe Sark is.
  25. Please elaborate.
  26. Program players of the week.
