Yeah but Schloss has always had an aggressive offense that applies pressure on the base paths. Sometimes if you can speed up the defense they will start making fielding mistakes. When he coached at TCU he was the only coach that scared me and gave Augie Garrido fits.

I wouldn’t even say that, half the time the zone has been where it crosses, the other half is where it ends. This has been exceptionally bad.

At least it’s consistent

It may feel like an over exaggeration but I’m pretty sure these “free” stolen bases have cost us 2-3 out alone in this series. I’m not for giving people free outs or free bases hence blowing a 7-3 lead.

Are they supposed to just not take free stolen bases? That one didn’t work out but 9 times out of 10 it will.

That pitcher balked maybe 3 times that inning. That was insane.

Yeah I’ve seen head scratching base running decisions multiple times this season.

Well in Round 1, Vista Ridge didn't nearly have the athletes that Little Elm did, but VR got physical & pressured him which clearly rattled Ogden...shot 1 for 8 from three for 10pts on the night. Again, he had a tough time with getting around defenders. The next 3 playoff games, opponents played him like he was a regular Joe, & Ogden went off of them. Not saying the kid isn't talented, he obviously is. But IMO, a top 40 guy in the nation should be able to almost have his way with HS defenders. D1 wing defenders are going to all over him. He'll need time for his body to get stronger & faster.

Is it just me or is are base running sometimes dumb af lol. We give up so may easy double plays by starting the runners and getting caught in a chase down lol.
