  1. Past hour
  2. On how the defense has changed: Hill says they’ve been doing a good job of tweaking what’s been needed to fit personnel. But shouldn’t be too different from a year ago.
  3. Hill says Arch has done a great job of extending plays with his legs and finding receivers down field.
  4. Xavier Filsaime and Graceson Littleton were mentioned by Anthony Hill Jr. as youngsters really stepping up.
  5. An interesting read on Cody Campbell from Front Office Sports… https://frontofficesports.com/the-texas-oil-billionaire-leading-the-newest-college-sports-lobbying-effort/ Curious as to everyone’s thoughts on his idea(s). Note: The article mentions the POTUS multiple times in this article, but we don’t care if you’re for or against him. No one cares. Please leave your politics out of my thread 😂
  6. First. I apologize. I got my posters and messages mixed up. Second, Is there any new update on Goosby's injury? I heard from a walk-on player what he knows, but want to hear from others before repeating information from a person on the team.
  7. BBQ, Pizza, etc.... Thank you in advance. HOOK'EM
  8. A handful of players will be meeting with the local media inside of Moncrief this morning. Texas is wrapping up on the practice field shortly and we will have updates below. 11 days away from Ohio State!
  9. I do think it’ll take time for Arch to become who we all think and hope he will become. Ditto Sayin. I’m guessing this is a little lower scoring game. Something like 21-13. Both defenses should have success. Both offenses should be a little sluggish. I’ll admit it worried me that the biggest known for either offense is the elite WRs of Ohio St. Texas doesn’t have a proven strength on offense unless you count Wisner who is good but not elite IMO. I am expecting Arch to play better than Sayin since he has more college experience. I am also expecting our defensive line to take another leap this year.
  10. I have everyone on ignore. I see no content.
  11. Could have been an anomaly given that Arizona State and Boise State were only in because of the since-ditched rule about 4 conference champs getting byes. And both were solid underdogs in those games. Georgia lost their starting QB coming in to this game, I think Stockton was making his first start. So they had an excuse. And Oregon - well ok, good point. Bad luck facing a rematch against a buzz saw OSU in-conference rival? But yeah, they looked bad. Sorry Joe Z Let's wait until after this year's CFP, when the top four seeds get the byes, and see if it holds up again? I would expect the (actual) top four seeds to do better this year, but maybe you are right. We'll see.
  12. And for the record, I think Sayin is a better pure passer than Arch. Ohio st is gonna be ridiculous on offense in 26
  13. Today
  14. I get the argument, but I can’t get on board with the idea to not shoot for an SEC Championship every year.
  15. Yeah. You’re saying “Sayin is definitely more athletic” than Baker. I guess we’ll see we play each other these next two years so we will get to know him well
  16. I, for one, would prefer a national championship over a conference championship.
  17. I might go to a USC post game just to give Lincoln Riley some ribbing over his brisket.
  18. I can definitely agree with you there that Baker, although I wouldn’t call him athletic (comparatively at least), I would definitely agree that he is “sneaky” athletic, or more athletic than given credit for. I think Sayin’s reputation will be very similar once he gets more playing time.
  19. The main longhorns message board antagonist is tired of being antagonized. Such a shame. I’ll wear your ignore like a badge of honor. No longer just a fraud but a soft fraud.
  20. Great idea. OU loses to Jackson Arnold and fans get to see Venables right after. What could go wrong?
