  1. Past hour
  2. I disagree to part of your disagreement. Yes, the players have the power now BUT their agents/uncles/advisers are the ones convincing these young men that they can get them more money regardless of what the player has done. Why is that happening? Because the agent/uncles/adviser makes more money for themselves.
  3. James Street wasn't the only one, though. Bobby Layne threw two no-hitters at Texas, won 35 games, was a four-time All-SWC selection and led the Longhorns to three SWC titles.
  4. The portal is littered with D2, D3, walk ons, and fringe D1 players cut from their previous squad. Those are the guys not finding homes and football just isn’t their thing. Guys who can play that get talked into the portal are still finding homes even if the grass isn’t greener. If you think that is a problem worth addressing I won’t argue that but there isn’t a big “homelessness crisis” due to the portal. The portal may be shining a light on the natural churn that always existed at the lower ranks of the sport.
  5. I disagree, it's on the players that this is happening. Everyone hated that the colleges and all that, had the power. Now the players have the power and it's a sh*t show. While the supposed ruling body sits back and does nothing because it's scared of a lawsuit or something lol.
  6. Except for me..im actually a ukranian bot
  7. Maybe a question or topic on the website from different viewpoints and bring a few comments suggestions etc on the channel. Overall yall do a great job covering the Horns!!
  8. Tom Izzo made headlines telling Kur Teng he couldn't guard his mother. Fatboy Luka couldn't guard my dead grandmother. I'd rather have kindergartener than that idiot.
  9. Today
  10. I'd rather have a fat fifth grader from North Dakota that Luka, Damn he sucks.
  11. Hopefully humann is tapped out from paying for the on-field ad. Maybe we can get a Shamrock Meats ad like Rocky had.
  12. Luka is the biggest fatboy loser I've ever seen in the NBA.
  13. This goes back aways but Ernie Koy Sr. was a really good athlete at Texas and so were his sons Ernie, Ted and I think maybe one of their sons.
  14. We got one, but it appears they're too worried about backlash to do it regularly. Jeff closed down the Mavs thread because I kept bashing on Luka. That doesn't change the fact that Luka sucks. As a lifetime Lakers fan, I can't stand his fatness. Rather have Nick Van Exel at point.
  15. He's not going to make much of a difference in 2026 in football. That's our best chance to win it all with Arch. It's better for him personally and Texas to concentrate on baseball. He can seriously contribute to a title there.
  16. I welcome all! Come and join the fun! Ive just seen a lot of new $1 subscribers be borderline disrespectful about the otf staff and even posters. We can debate and bicker, but i for one will nt ket someone badmiuth bobby and staff...i dont agree with them a lot but they work their butt off for us. I may be a little too sensitive to some of the newbies because of it and i apologize.
  17. SEC on one shoulder, Raisin Canes on the other
  18. @Bobby Burton @Gerry Hamilton how soon before texas does the jersey patch?
  19. I'd rather Jonah just play baseball.
  20. His son helped us win a CWS too. I often wonder if another family had a more cross-generational on-field impact than the Street Family. I can't think of another father-son pair that compares in UT history.
  21. You cant enter the portal without eligibility. These players are being told they can get more in the portal, go out trying to get more and the places they want to go are being filled with players that arent demanding ad much ir are deemed higher value targets. D2 players are probably being replaced with d1 players willing to step down and d3 players they sre willing to role the dice on.
