Who’s collecting the money for all the sites?
-
He was offered a deal but no one actually knows the full amount. Speculation was that it was 8 million. But there is no way to know.

Damn they couldn't use a better photo of him? Lol.

Where the 2026 Class Calls Home (Wednesday Noon)
VaHorn replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Sure, happy to do so. Btw, you are wrong. Every class is mostly Texas recruits. The question is did the other coaches, recruit more players from outside of Texas. If you can’t see the difference, I can’t help you. 2014 - Texas 17, Florida 2, Louisiana 2, Arizona 1, SC 1 2015 - Texas 19, Florida 5, California 1, Maryland 1 , Louisiana 1, New York 1 2016 - Texas 24, Louisiana 4, California 1 2017 - Texas 13, Florida 1, Alabama 1, Mississippi 1, Georgia 1, Oklahoma 1 2018 - Texas 19, California 2, Missouri 2, Louisiana 1, Utah 1, Oklahoma 1 -
I, like many on this board, have been a member (or at least followed them for a period) of all of the major UT recruiting sites. I have read or seen on YouTube or elsewhere all he major players from our own Bobby and Gerry to Ketch, Chip, Eric Nahlin, TSU, etc. and I sincerely believe that OTF covers UT sports as well as or better than all the rest. There are pluses and minuses to all the sites but OTF has far more pluses than all the others.

Listening to Jim Nagy claim the criminals could have a NFL draft pick from every position group next spring makes me wonder if the drugs are flowing more freely in Norman than during the Switzer era or he's setting up Venables. -

In all fairness the song is mostly about us…. -
This has been happening on all the sites for years, why be surprised by it now?

I had Ffrench on there first but took him off as he is outside the composite 50. And his spring shows that he is raw. M Terry even more so. I think Townsend might make my list after the summer as I am really high on him. Littleton is the one that probably should be on the list base on early reviews… good call.

@Bobby Burton @CJ Vogel @Jeff Howe @Gerry Hamilton Did other teams have their GMs show up to media day like Jim Nagy? Looks like he even did a media availability. Very odd if he was the only one. -

Texas elite recruits / players

I’d saw Ffrench, Terry, Townsend, Littleton should be on this list -
This rankings update was approached as a "tweak" and not a complete overhaul. It comes following the completion of key summer events (Elite 11 Finals, OT7 Championship, Texas 7v7 state tournament, the final few Under Armour regional showcases and college camps around the country). ...and they moved Ojo up two spots?

He was, but didn't play at UT. Raul Allegre was of Mexican decent, but not born in Mexico who did play for Texas. - Yesterday

Where the 2026 Class Calls Home (Wednesday Noon)
Migas & Fajitas replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I think you need to recheck the classes. There may have been a few more oos recruits under Herman or Strong but those classes were all still mostly Texas recruits. Sark is on pace to have as many if not more oos recruits than Texas recruits this cycle. -
Where the 2026 Class Calls Home (Wednesday Noon)
VaHorn replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
No, not really. Of course everyone’s going to have a majority of the players from Texas, including Sark. But Strong and Herman were less Texas centric than Mack. -
Texas is building a juggernaut of elite players. Sark's targeting of which players to go all in on this year reflects the balance of elite players at each position. Since 2023, when considering elite top 50 recruits plus recruits that have been better than advertised / developed plus elite transfers: QB - Arch Manning, Dia Bell RB - CJ Baxter, (could be adding one in 2026 soon) WR - Deandre Moore, Ryan Wingo, Kaliq Lockett TE - Jack Endries OL - Trevor Goosby, Brandon Baker, (Nick Brooks on fasttrack), John Turntine DL - Colin Simmons, Justus Terry, Lance Jackson, Richard Wesley, James Johnson LB - Trey Moore, Anthony Hill, Brad Spence, Tyler Atkinson CB - Malik Muhammad, Kobe Black, Kade Phillips S - Jelani McDonald, Jonah Williams ATH - Jermaine Bishop I'm essentially defining guys that have top 2 round NFL draft potential... and they are a lot more that in another year could easily be seen in this projection (the TEs Washington/Townsend, the DTs Charles/Sharma/Cleveland, the WRs Mosley / Ffrench). Then there are fantastic college players like Michael Taaffe and Tre Wisner that may be picked a little later in the NFL draft but are nonetheless All American level players. Just thrilled with the job that Sark has done with this roster.
