  1. Past hour
  2. Pregame not on the radio. That usually means a delay.
  3. The most competitive school at Texas is nursing with a 3% acceptance rate!! I was shocked to read that because you don’t hear about as much as the Business and Engineering schools.
  4. Yesterday
  5. I respect Ohio State for adding the most competitive teams in the SEC to their non-conference schedule the next few years. As a fan, I love that Texas likes to schedule one big time program for an out of conference game. I get the argument against it, but man it’s fun to have big games with teams we don’t normally play. I hope the selection committee gets their head out of their a$$ so we can keep scheduling these games. Who had the bright idea that anyone is going to want to watch not 1, but 2 G5 schools in place of Texas or Notre Dame - crazy!!
  6. I’m hoping they get this game in. I’d love to see Winter have a good outing. We’re going to need him (and others like Bing and Flores) in a month or so.
  7. Don't care about any of the optics, optimizing, prognosticating what the selection committee is looking for, irdgas. I would play Ohio State year-in, year-out & let the chips fall where they may. It's been like a dream come true to see us play Ohio State & Michigan the last 20 years.
  8. Thanks for the update Jeff. Just as well, I'm tied up until 8:00 so I'll drop back later. Of course, I'll try to catch it streaming on a popular website. Hook'em !!
  9. Robertson is out of eligibility after the 2026 season.
  10. It’s a possibility, but there are more options at left guard than tackle.
  11. The game has been pushed back one hour because of the weather. The game will be streamed on SEC Network Plus.
  12. You’re looking at it from an Ohio State perspective. Teams that you expect to fall in the 10-25 range may lose out with an extra loss. For this year, it’s a decent chance that UTSA and/or Texas State are solid opponents. At least relative to SHSU, UTEP, etc. I would wager many strength of schedules give too much weight to the bottom quartile of the schedule.
  13. Well "re-build" has a negative connotation, however, the talent coming in is amazing. Unfortunately, we lost Rori to the draft. We will also miss Kyla. We won't miss the three portal transfers because Isi Itute is much better than Carlton, Bri Crittendon is better than Aaliyah Crump, and Addison Bjorn is bigger and just as good a shooter as Jordan Lee. Hopefully, Bri Preston can step in and run the team! It's interesting that Coach Vic had really been quiet throughout this process.
  14. I don’t eat there but I would not have a problem taking their money. Awesome opportunities.
  15. To the “health and science” of football players? Can we play with these words, and what the money can be alotted to?
  16. As much money as I have sent to Dell over the years, I am feeling a tiny bit philanthropic today.
  17. This is an important point, but there's a hidden point too. The second and third teams etc. making the playoffs from the P2 conferences tend to have an easier league schedule as well. Consider Slurp last year, which did not play anyone until us, which was after Thanksgiving. Ole Miss played an overrated OU (win) and Georgia (loss). Alabama played UGA twice and lost, lost to OU. Its best win was Tennessee. (And don't forget the loss to FSU.) If you look at the relevant Big 10 schedules, they are similarly room service oriented. Indiana played two teams - Oregon and tOSU, the latter in the league championship. tOSU played two teams - us and Indiana in the league championship. You can make an argument about Michigan, and I get it. But we beat them handily with mostly our backups, and they had limited opt outs. Oregon played one team - Indiana - in the regular season. Now, pick up our schedule from last year or this one and tell me that it is easier than any of these schedules, even if you take the tOSU game out. It isn't, so why are we making it harder on ourselves?
  18. All eyes, imho, should be on Flood as the make or break.
  19. I agree, I just hope as a consumer, Ohio State doesn't follow that trend. In a soon to be 16+ playoff, it's pathetic in my opinion if you use the committee as an excuse to schedule weak OOC opponents. The next five years (as of now, could change) Ohio State has - @Texas - vs Alabama - @ Alabama - vs Georgia - @ Georgia
  20. Well, that is what the committee is telling teams to do. So get ready for more of it.
  21. Don’t eat McDonald crap!
