Mike White has had Canady's number for some reason. Probably had more success against her than any other team in the country, even OU. Hopefully that trumps his propensity to come up short in big games at times. He's already gotten the Gasso money off his back. Can he reach the top of the mountain? I know I'm behind on this thread and I hope this doesn't sound like a repetitive question, but I know a few weeks ago there was some discussion on Coffee & Football about the staff wanting to add one more big minutes piece, I believe a CG, because there was a question about what a projected starting lineup would be and you said it was hard to say as of then because we didn't have that CG out of the portal yet... (I might have misheard). We wanted a CG that had size, could shoot from deep and was a multi-year starter. As you stated, we are still after those same traits, but I was wondering if the emergence of Simeon Wilcher and what we have planned for him has kind of changed the outlook on this last roster spot to go from potential starting CG out of the portal to a role player CG? Thanks!

This just me speculating but I noticed his hitting really tanked after he started getting benched for what was assumed to be interior behavior issues. I think he got butt hurt for being benched and that affected his on field performance.

Another way to look at it is that there isn't a game on the criminal schedule that Texas wouldn't be favored to win, with the possible exception of at Alabama. The over/under win total for Texas with the criminal schedule would be 11.5. The over/under for the criminals with the Texas schedule would probably be 7.5. Given that Texas favored over the criminals, it's really 6.5.
