We all know this judge up for reelection is not gonna change his order . The question then becomes does LSU really wanna take that risk , with the pending federal lawsuit etc. And possibly have to forfeit or vacate games they play in and win . On top of suspensions and $ etc.And the CFP committee saying no to teams that do this. Normally one would think no way, not worth it. But it is LSU so they may win the battle momentarily. But gonna lose the war big time , and may never recover .

What an A$$hole! They will make the CFP if the win the weak 12 and swept right back out. Hopefully BYU knocks them off and we will just hear more excuses from the sand aggies LOL

I had a company pay for my flight to interview for a job, that doesn't mean I worked for them. He tried out and didn't get a contract, he didn't get paid because he didn't get a contract. If he didn't get paid, he didn't work for them. Hell, colleges do the same for recruits and they never sign they don't play there. Minor league baseball used to have tryouts all the time. No contract, no pro.

Coach Codeman has a nice ring to it. It’ll be a windfall for tech move they can have Coach Codeman pay TO coach the team and some of the coaches. Then they could put that money into softball NIL.

I mostly heard the "my interactions with him have been positive" and "he's a good guy" about Joey McGuire, dating back to his high school coaching days. I think Jordan, Jeff and maybe Gerry said things similar to this, could be wrong though. Can't remember anyone here actually standing up for Cody Campbell

Campbell chooses not to recognize the difference between a donation and an acquisition; he acts like he owns the place. The Tech administration and the rest of the regents there clearly have sold out to him. It is disgraceful behavior, and it is a breach of their fiduciary responsibilities

Maybe they will score a point in the playoffs with all that passion!!!

They better win the big 12, but don't expect leniency from the other schools outside the big 12 if/when they get the automatic bid to the CFP and actually face a real team. But they have bigger fish to fry and will probably rest their starters instead of running up the score because they would be more concerned about the next game trying to win a championship.
