Venables had the horses when he was at Clemson with tons of NFL talent to cover just long enough for the DL to get home. But in the NIL world of today and ou acting like they are only middle class, he can't field a roster full of enough guys to do what he's traditionally done on defense. I won't post every highlight on this thread but this play last night was amazing. A diving dig and a scramble to get the ball over the net, followed by another diving dig to set up the point winning kill. This team is talented and incredibly scrappy on defense. They won't allow teams to score any easy points on them.
