  2. Can’t wait to hear your updated thoughts on the team after watching this @Gerry Hamilton
  3. Appears more like they are guaranteeing some investors with equity to create an investment fund that could earn the school money down the road.
  4. I was listening to College Sports on XM 2-3 months ago and they made the point it was going to be impossible to placate all four of these coaches NIL needs.
  5. Looked to be a sizable crowd in attendence. I approve of the all 3's made, dunks, and layups offense.
  6. Isn't this what the FIFA guy wanted to do?
  7. At the OnTexasBasketball IG account https://www.instagram.com/p/Dbogwd7mwPl/?img_index=5&igsh=dmo3bGgwemJ4Mjhs
  8. Tomorrow they kickoff vs UTSA in an exhibition that will be one of the first looks at the new era of Texas soccer. An era that I believe will lead to a national championship eventually. Game is in SATX at 7:30 CT
  9. Updated schedule 🤘🏻🔥⚽️
  10. Today
  11. That's a fascinating model. It'll be interesting to see how it works in practice and whether other college programs adopt similar private equity structures in the future.
  12. Not entirely, here we are talking about something that is "pointless".
  13. Who's going to explain this to Royal?
  14. GH putting mustard on his corn dog today to celebrate
  15. Don’t have to worry about Kayla work ethic.
  16. LSU is trying to solve a math problem more schools are starting to face. Revenue sharing with athletes, rising roster costs and years of coaching buyouts have created a gap that donations alone can't close. The answer isn't just asking boosters for more. LSU is exploring a corporate entity it would own and control, one that invests in outside businesses to generate recurring revenue. Reports that the school already sold 10% of its future media rights for $100 million have been disputed, and no deal has been signed. The trend is still hard to miss. Boosters, ticket sales and TV money no longer cover what it costs to compete at the top, and schools are starting to raise capital more like businesses. Utah has partnered with a private equity firm, and Kentucky, Michigan State and Clemson have all set up commercial arms.
  17. Bijan was a freshman. Herman did not sacrifice Bijan to save his HC job. Credit to him! 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
