To an extent I agree that we are limited but rounded routes in which a WR drifts or fades is not going to help a QB.

Lol. You’re looking for some kind of positive affirmation or credit after a bad loss? No one said they were world beaters. The entire discussion is who do we need to make sure we stay dialed in on or risk a loss. Florida has the talent in the right spots to be one of those teams. If anything, losing this game will ratchet up their focus and desperation. They don’t have to put it together for 10 great games to beat us once. So no, nothing’s changed. If the bottom falls out and players start quitting, that’s a game changer. They seem to love their coach so we’ll see but it hasn’t happened yet. Transitive logic just isn’t applicable in football. I have a feeling the boys get things clicking this week more on the offensive side. I know the D is keeping this very vanilla but would love to see us do a bit more in the pass rush department, show us a pulse.

We likely cover yesterday if Gibson doesn’t cough up the ball. Sark even made a point of mentioning postgame that he wanted the second string guys running the real offense and wasn’t just going to take knees on the final drive. As is the case most of the time when a line is 35+ points, the ability to cover is probably going to come down to if your second and third string can execute late in the game. Will be the same this coming Saturday.

Just because Sark doesn't try to embarrass teams, it's hard seeing Texas cover. They do have a former 5 star, 2X Gatorade player of the year so he can make the throws. He won't have time tho, gonna be a long day for him.

All due respect, but we have no idea what "good routes" should look like these days. A WR could be running to grass or reading safeties on some weird choice route. CFB broadcasts rarely even include all the receivers on the field, much less the defensive backfields.
