  1. Past hour
  2. Florida’s loss to USF definitely changes the narrative for our game against them in a few weeks. If we don’t blow them out, it’s going to be a negative outlook from the national media.
  3. Sounds like Moore has a concussion or a jaw injury. I was watching through my binoculars as he came off the field, and his posture was very oddly hunched over and he was wobbly on his feet. Kind of makes sense if you took a round house to the jaw. If so, won’t be seeing him play for a while. Hopefully he will be okay in a few weeks.
  4. Man, you’re slurping them both so hard I bet those knees are getting raw…
  5. Simons has to get the penalty issue under control. It cost us huge last week and will hurt us in other big games down the line. I’m sure he’s frustrated with play but be smart about it.
  6. USF played a way cleaner game than we just did. If we have less than 50 yards in penalties the next two weeks I might relax.
  7. QB did not play last year. Even if he does play this year, Texas shouldn’t lose that game.
  8. Yes, you're supposed to be WR #1 and he's looked less than impressive two games in. Needs to wake up and make some plays.
  9. I agree with you about the D, PK won't be doing this vanilla ass stuff against better teams, as was shown against Ohio State. It would be nice for us to stamp our authority on lesser teams though, regardless. Was happy to get the W and happy to see some of the boys perform well but overall I don't think anyone would be happy with the sloppiness and laziness we saw in this one. Tough week at practice for these boys, that's for sure.
  10. Yesterday
  11. Take the victory lap. You have earned it, my friend.
  12. Soooooo we ready to have that conversation or nah? Yall still concerned?
  13. This is absolutely true. I think the argument, if there is one, is that playing Arch last year could have been a net wash, meaning you don't win any more games or lose any more games because of him, and he is better prepared coming into this season. I get why people make this argument, I don't agree with it, but I get it.
  14. Unrealistic and unfair expectations for Arch. People expected him to win the Heisman, lead the Longhorns to the National Championship, then go #1 overall to the Saints next year and be Drew Brees 2.0. Fact is Arch is a very talented kid on a very talented team that will win most of their games, but struggle because they are young. Arch is no exception to that. He looked better than he did last year, and will probably look better next week than he did this week. Its the pattern. He is going to be a completely different quarterback in two months. Regarding Quinn, absolutely under-appreciated. The Horns don't ascend to where they are now without him. You could make the argument that with Cedric Baxter last year (or perhaps Jonathan Brooks the year before), they could have gone all the way. Additionally, look at the redzone issues that have plagued this team for years. Can't blame those all on Quinn when we saw the exact same stuff last week. Quinn is the first big recruit I ever followed and has a very special place in my Longhorn fandom.
  15. Yes I agree, I'm not the biggest fan of it but Sark seems to like it, for whatever reason.
  16. That was a very disappointing and unimpressive performance. So many penalties, sloppy play on both sides of the ball. Not much pressure on the QB, not much consistency on O. I won't go on and on, because no one cares about my uninformed opinion but that needs to be cleaned up asap. Glad to get the win, but that type of performance is not on or acceptable.
  17. I defended Quinn always, and the only thing that I think people need to do is realize that Arch wasn’t going to take us any further the last two years than QE did. However, Arch is young, and I think he will get better. It would help him (the team) if we could run better and if another receiver would step up, but there is time for another WR to step. Well 2 more cupcakes before Florida and Dirt Robbers.
  18. Having Arch turn his back to the LOS and then have him throw an inside screen is nuts. He has no chance to see if a defender is there before he has to decide whether to throw the ball or not. Just terrible play design. Sark did it with Quinn to with similar issues.
  19. I wear that 3 jersey with pride lol. Almost had to fight my daughter for trying to sneak it to school for jersey day
  20. I dont think its that. It's how efficient and lethal Quinn was in the areas Arch is struggling in right now. Quinn did get alot of some unnecessary hate last year, and I think they're apologizing for it
  21. Steph Curry type spit
  22. maybe just maybe we stop throwing behind the line of scrimmage screens in first down
  23. Anyone know how many roughing/ running into the punter penalties we’ve had compared to actual blocked punts over the past few years?
