Hill blew a lot of stuff up that didn’t show in the stat lines. And he was still one of the leading tacklers. -

No. 21 Texas at Kentucky: It's a night game!
Gerry Hamilton replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
It's imperative. Not sure you will bring 100% of the same emotion as last week. That's human nature. But if the team doesn't bring the physicality to the road this week, it will become a danger zone game. Kentucky isn't as talented as past teams under Stoops, but they seemingly play into the 4th quarter against teams better/more talrnted every year at home. Ole Miss 30-23 this year Georgia 13-12 and Vanderbilt 20-13 last year etc... -
Heard the recap show from Ikard & Lehman and they kept it real. What I respect most is when people keep it 100%, and they did exactly that. They see the Texas program from the outside and they’re right — this is probably the worst team this program will field for a while. A young O-line that will only improve, Arch gaining experience and confidence, and skill players still developing — the foundation is there. This season might not be one for the record books with a national title run, but it’s a valuable building block year. We’ll learn more about this program over the rest of the season than we have the past two — really since Sark’s first couple years. Let’s just hope for good health the rest of the way and stay in contention for the playoff push. Hook ’Em 🤘 https://youtu.be/zLkjTkVw4RE?si=mbq4h8EgjC4Yq5LT

College coaching carousel 2025: It's going to be wild
AusMOJO replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Do you think 8 wins saves his job or does he need more? I think at 7-5 they're going to fire him. Auburn needs to cut their losses and get a new HC and QB. Arnold looked good early on but boy he looked like typical Arnold the rest of the way. -
They have a tough schedule but I don't see him getting fired if he can get 8 wins, imo.

Do you think OU’s AD change will affect Venables’ job security? Maybe the new AD won’t want to immediately make a coaching change. -

James Franklin Fired
Assistant Regional Manager replied to TexasFanatic's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Firing James Franklin, who couldn’t win the big game, for Matt Rhule, who is 0-18 against ranked opponents at Baylor and Nebraska, would be a tough sell if I was a Penn State fan. -
Kinne or Traylor would need a Baylor/TCU/SMU type to shake loose I would think. And Kinne ain’t exactly covering himself in glory after entering the year with some expectations. I know Traylor tried for the UH job but he really needed to get out of UTSA a few years ago. He’s now in the G5 cycle of death in terms of his roster turnover.

Last night? All he does is talk the ear off of the ref, stand in the field 60%, and talks all the fam time at the refs… I live near ATL and I can’t stand his antics
