  1. Past hour
  2. Nice! If Chris Jackson's high school recruited WRs (Wingo and Livingstone mainly) have good seasons, Texas wins in Columbus, and they make a $trong push for him, I wouldn't rule it out. Maybe the Mater Dei connection between Jackson and Henry wins out by December.
  3. You’ll have to let us know which one you choose. SOC/Duncanville is the play, imo, if you stay close…. Unless you wanna drive the extra 30ish miles and, in that case, Desoto @ North Crowley is gonna be great.
  4. I saw a post by a mod on another site Dia may visit LSU?
  5. That was a sketchy play and throw. Sam still has the wheels and the grit!
  6. Really hoping he makes the 53. If not he will go to practice squad if unclaimed. However, if he did get claimed I was thinking of teams he could potentially land with and compete for playing time. Its probably a long shot but Three teams that stand out as potential landing spots throughout the year where he could go in as a #2 and possibly compete for the #1 job in the case of an injury are 1. Saints (Ratter, Shough, Haener) 2. Jaguars (Lawrence, Nick Mullens, John Wolford) 3. Titans (Cam Ward, Brendan Allen, Trevor Siemian) Always rooting for Sam!
  7. Today
  8. Sam is pure class-> https://www.si.com/nfl/broncos/news/sam-ehlinger-preseason-finale-roster-cutdown
  9. Receivers know they will flourish and be on NFL radars immediately with Steve Sarkisian and Texas. Sark locks in his QBs early and builds talent around them. When was the last time Texas had a better recruiting class at WR than this freshman class with McCutcheon, Lockett, Ffrench, Terry III to go with tight ends Emaree Winston and Nick Townsend? If a receiver wants to compete for an sec title, playoffs and be in an offense for a coach who has led multiple Heisman trophy winners, Texas is the place to be.
  10. It was a nice tease, a mediocre appetizer that was brought to your table as a complimentary dish that the restaurant is promoting - you can take it or leave it - but it turns on your parasympathetic nervous system that kicks off that familiar feeling: you are hungry, possibly even starving, for the main course
  11. I do wonder what things would look like had Bond not had his off field issues prior to the draft. Texas could've been looking at sending Worthy & Mitchell as 1st & 2nd rounders and then Golden & Bond as 1st & 2nd rounders in back to back seasons.
  12. I know you’re talking specifically Sark-recruited WRs, but Sark did have a hand in shaping AD Mitchell who is rapidly ascending in NFL circles.
  13. Cosby for me. Duvernay right behind him
  14. Gotta show Quan love, he balled out against Ohio State in the Fiesta Bowl
  15. Lake Travis at Rockwall A&M Consolidate at Forney (RB Javian Osborne and others) Within 30'ish min drive
  16. It’s not shade. There’s a truth to what you write. But you’re also neglecting the number of draft picks the last two years, two first rounders and a second. The trend line for Texas is clearly moving in the right direction and that is something recruits look at, too.
  17. Quandre. Us short people gotta stick together.
  18. Randy's wife, Jenna, has written some fine Longhorn lore. https://www.amazon.com/s?k=jenna+mceachern&crid=1276MUOSS75AW&sprefix=jenna+mceachern%2Caps%2C137&ref=nb_sb_noss_1 Shameless hype for some old friends.
  19. Duvernay probably would’ve won the heisman in sarks offense
  20. Credited with 1 QB hurry but that’s all according to the KU football website.
  21. My favorite, by far, was Randy McEachern! Him and Earl in the backfield.
  22. Jammer or Quandre, but probably Jammer in the end. Is this the only brother number great tandem?
