I was thinking the same thing. Hope we get this guy but this portal has seen us get burned and makes me curious, any one know how many of our incoming transfers came to us, then went to other visits and still came around to sign with us? Versus how many came and signed somewhere else?

Based upon comments on the board, our coaches can neither recruit, close, or actually coach. Staff cannot evaluate talent, and we fail to money whip any recruit into signing. As a program we are approaching the eight circle of Hell. And cats and dogs are sleeping together.

Texas wanted Edwin Joseph, but I don’t believe the staff was going to engage anyone in a bidding war over him. With Bo Mascoe in the boat and Derek Williams coming back, the front seven is the priority for the defensive staff.
