Day says even with the tablets on the sidelines, most real adjustments are made at halftime. Says that is where his staff must be ready to make adjustments and changes.

Day: "Steve (Sark) is a great play caller, always has been." Says he expects Texas to get Arch into a rhythm early while assessing what is happening on the Buckeyes. Day syas he is aware of the Texas opening script having a lot of success and the Buckeyes will need to come ready to play.

Day: It is great for college football to have this game on opening weekend. I have great respect for Sarkisian and his program and the way he coaches.

Day says Sayin is getting more and more comfortable each day in practice.

Day on Julian Sayin: "He has a good group of guys around him. He has a good defense, he has a good special teams, good offensive line, good skill guys, he needs to lean into them and go find a way to win the game."

No word on kickoff or punt returners for the Buckeyes.

Day on who his K/P will be: Both incumbents have K Jayden Fielding and P Joe McGuire are expected to be the guys for the Buckeyes this weekend. There was a competition at both spots in fall camp.

Wouldn’t surprise me one bit. I watched every one of Arch Manning’s throws from last year. He’s better than I thought. However, it seemed like anytime he faced pressure he just threw the ball into double or triple coverage or rushed a short pass that was off the mark. That’ll come with experience so hopefully he hasn’t learned to deal with pocket pressure in the off season or it could be a long day for Ohio State.

Laugh all you want but how soft do you have to be to ban someone from the stadium bc they hate your team?? I can’t recall another team doing this without merit and him getting in your fee-fees doesn’t merit it.

Sorry to hear you lost your friend to colon cancer. My father died at age 62. His colon cancer was diagnosed at Stage IV three months before he died. Non-smoker and didn't drink. Wasn't obese and worked hard as a rancher. He loved the Longhorns and our family had his name placed on a memorial tile on the Texas Ex Students Association plaza. He never got to know his granddaughter who was born seven years later. All that is said in agreement with you. Everyone please take this disease seriously and get your screenings done.
