  1. Past hour
  2. Agreed, Thank you PK for a great few years here. I actually grew to trust our defense to not completely collapse and lose the game for us. Far better than what we got from Charlie Strong, far better than Todd Orlando, and Chris Ash. Although I do think he (Ash) was doing good with what we had at the time. Vance Bedford was fun to watch in a press conference. Sucked otherwise. Thanks for not sucking PK. Even though you kept our corners 10 yards off the line..
  3. Thanks for posting this, seems like everyone likes to kick him on the way out but he did great here at Texas and I'm very thankful for him. Wish him nothing but the best and he will 100% land on his feet somewhere.
  4. Amen!! Very well said!! I hope he’s moving forward and to an opportunity to be a head coach maybe Utah!!!
  5. Provided stability and an identity for this team to fall back on as the offense juggled injuries and inconsistency. Forever appreciative for him taking this defense to elite levels. Gave us something really good to build upon in a transition to a more aggressive/physical style that we frankly were not equipped to run his first few years. The Rivalry Chessmaster. Hope the best for him (unless he's coaching against Texas).
  6. What an amazing few years at Texas. No doubt our D played a massive role in B2B CFB appearances and Big 12 title. Don't think headlines should say 'fired.' We should all be fired from our current jobs if that is the yardstick. Hope his move is linked to other good opportunities/ fits. Regardless - thank you coach!

  8. https://x.com/TransferPortal/status/2001750051660435797?s=20 not sure he fits since we already have a bunch of promising yunguns, but an interesting guy nonetheless Would be awesome to take a bunch of young development guys (assuming they dont take money from our needed starters/depth) with the move to 105. This guy likely too much, but lots of young talent entering
  9. Boom! This is a big one.
  10. You and I remember the Muschamp years very differently…he had his head scratcher moments
  11. Yeah — I think I see — what you're saying.
  12. So who do you fire for the average to below average offense? Apparently that is acceptable but "good" defense isn't "good" enough? When PK's D carried this team in '23 and '24. Even in parts of '25. Yes he has his issues, but unless there behinds the scenes issues, I don't see why this is a good thing. Has Muscahmp coached defense at a high level in recent years? That's a genuine question not me throwing shade. Anyway, best of luck to PK. Loved what he did at Texas and despite his misgivings, was never a problem at Texas. Hope he lands somewhere and succeeds. Let's see what Muschamp can do.
  13. Sorry chach, it’s 2025. Didn’t realize feelings lead the way anymore.
  14. Sark knows he’s the judge, jury and executioner as far as the offenses failures. As gerry has said, He starts making changes on that side of the ball, they don’t work, Then there’s only one last guy to blame and that’s the guy sark sees in the mirror.
  15. 3rd in scoring is flirting with elite? Offense hasn’t sniffed that kind of ranking.
  16. It’s a freaking message board. Let people do what they want
  17. Sir this is a message board, it’s just for fun to speculate
  18. So what about the offensive line emergency button? That’s bigger to me than the defense which pretty much saved Sarks offense the last couple years.
  19. There’s a difference between dating flags and marriage flags, just like there’s a difference between a portal rental and a four-year program guy. Butterfly elbow tat? Maybe fun for a weekend. Probably not someone you’re giving a locker room key to for five years. Lower-back tattoo = transfer risk. Three commitments = early portal entry. “Proving the haters wrong” posts = NIL renegotiation coming by October. CJ’s just trying to save Texas from recruiting the human equivalent of a bullseye tramp stamp. Can’t blame him for playing the long game.
  20. I enjoyed this post but something about it is giving me ChatGPT vibes
  21. I always enjoy these types of post. lets me know who: 1-has no clue what they are talking about 2-who are trying to act as influencers/talking heads 3-who to ignore because they operate off of feelings.

  23. If you’re stunned, congratulations — you’re having the correct emotional response. This is Sark making a very deliberate, very loud statement that “good” isn’t good enough anymore. Last year’s defense flirted with elite. This year’s defense settled into solid-but-frustrating, especially once the back end started leaking oil midseason. And in Sark’s world, that’s unacceptable with championship-level talent on the roster. Enter Coach Boom. Again. Muschamp isn’t here to experiment, grow into the role, or vibe. He’s here to bring violence, accountability, and clarity — three things that quietly slipped this season. This is the defensive equivalent of saying: “Enough. We’re fixing this now.” Is it harsh to move on from PK after coordinating one of the best defenses in the country just a year ago? Yep. Is Muschamp a safer, higher-floor hire with instant credibility in the SEC arms race? Also yep. This feels less like a downgrade/upgrade debate and more like a reset of tone: Less confusion Fewer coverage busts More third-down stops More “you WILL do your job” energy And the timing matters. Muschamp coaching the bowl game means he’s already evaluating personnel, identifying portal priorities, and setting expectations before January hits. That’s not an accident. Bottom line: Sark just told everyone — players, staff, recruits, the SEC — that Texas is done being patient on defense. You don’t make this move unless you’re chasing something big.
