Manny to the Bears! Great pick.
-
Texas cornerback Malik Muhammad is off the board on Saturday, as the Chicago Bears picked the Longhorns cornerback with the 124th overall pick in the fourth round of the 2026 NFL Draft. Muhammad, a three-year contributor for Texas, played in 39 career games, starting two games a freshman, all 16 as a sophomore, and nine as a junior. The Dallas (Texas) South Oak Cliff product compiled 97 tackles, including 3.5 tackles for a loss, a sack, 19 pass breakups, and three interceptions over the course of career in Burnt Orange. “Texas has prepared me very well, like overly prepared,” Muhammad said after his Texas Pro Day workout. “The program that Sark runs is like a pro program when it comes to time management, the structure of our day, the way we practice, the way we lift weights, the way we run. And then he just preaches to us about being a great person and a great man, whether you’re a husband, a father, a brother, a teammates, anyway possible he just preaches about being a great man. Texas has definitely prepared us for these moments.” The former four-star recruit is the fourth defensive back to get drafted from Texas over the last three drafts, joining Jahdae Barron and Andrew Mukuba in 2025 and Ryan Watts in 2024. Does Notre Dame have any picks yet other than RBs? -
They worry me if they go to a team we play against.

That's it, I'm outta here

Ole Miss has one NFL draft pick right now ... all this stuff goes beyond just talent. -
I think it’s actually pretty incredible that we won 10 games with 1 pick in the first 3 rounds.

I agree. As a Cowboys fan, I learned early that they do not use logic to draft -
Hopefully these future juniors drop the ego and quit thinking they are too good for a 4th year. BARRON: came back as senior and won Thorpe. Went first round. Muhammad: left after junior year. Didn’t do much as junior. Still undrafted as of 4th round.

Don’t understand the Devin Moore pick for the Cowboys when Manny was still on the board. Manny is a much better CB.

Manny still sliding…

Cade Klubnik to the Jets in the fourth round. I honestly didn’t think five quarterbacks would be off the board by this point.

I’ll never understand not identifying an issue. It’s a sport that’s measured. It’s simple cause/effect and nothing to do with blame. Qb is the most important position and can’t be measured the same. If you remove the blame notion and stick to what behavior or action needs to improve, it’s pretty easy. Arch happens to be the qb. This position requires “x” to be successful regardless of the actual individual manning the position. It impacts games and seasons. It’s never only 1 person that loses a season. That wasn’t the narrative but I think it’s objectively fair to say a dull season of year end arch gets us into the playoffs. His play lifted everyone once he got going. Have a great day! 🤘🏽

By Aggie logic, Texas can claim Brenen Thompson, who just went No. 105 overall to the Chargers.

Understood. It’s football. Sometimes you play better than others. I’m always a team guy. When a guy misses a play or has an off game, all others need to make a play to offset. I won’t blame guys. There are ample missed opportunities in a game, from different sources. -
taxsaver started following Easton Royal back at LSU

The truth is that we WANT these types of recruitments. It means we're in on the right players. The top NIL programs are vying for the same players. I would be much more concerned if no one was pursuing Royal.

If Simpson could get drafted in the first round, I know Chambliss and Moore would’ve been drafted in the first round.
