  1. Past hour
  2. Carlton would be the least exciting of the flips to me. Our edge room feels the most healthy and I cant imagine him getting much run until year 3+.
  3. His family has several UW grads. Texas does not control any recruit's family. Duh!
  4. I'm not sure we let him flip, as much as he wanted to stay closer to home and he has family that played there, no?
  5. Today
  6. You had TE's that could run it or that he actually utilized out of it. It's never really been that great blocking wise but this year might be one of the worst it's been. He should stick with 11 and go to 10, see what's what.
  7. It has worked ok for us in past seasons by holy cow it is a disaster this year. And we've played 11 games, so it is what is. Not sure why Sark has throw away 10 plays a game checking to see if 12 personnel will finally work this week. Please stay in 11 vs A&M Sark.
  8. How would our guys grade out against Purdue, Rutgers, UCLA, Wisconsin, Maryland and Illinois? He’s a UW Legacy. Shouldn’t have surprised anyone that he flipped.
  9. An experienced road grader would be what the doctor ordered. The guy that will get us the tough yards and can block.
  10. Ranked as a top 20 freshman in the NCAA by ESPN as a a starter on Washington’s O-Line. Glad we let him flip!
  11. Well pretty much everyone won, so gg? Lol. It seems like OU is similar to Texas last year. Good D and terrible O. Also, what was with that score with Georgia? All of a sudden they don't look as good offensively against some weak team lol.
  12. I'm not sure what Sark's fascination is with 12 personnel? If you want to run it, recruit actual TE's not tweener WR's.
  13. I know Taaffe has had his injury issues this year but he's taken a massive step back from last year. Thought he'd be able to be a stabilizing voice for the secondary and it hasn't done much of anything. Our guys don't make many plays on the ball, there is also a steep drop off in talent from the starters to back ups (who we're supposed to rely on next year). A&M has the talent to punish us in the middle of the field and on the edges, similar to Miss State but worse. They also have a running QB who we seem to be unable to defend now. I'm expecting another shoot out, I know we have new DB coaches but I was not expecting such a drop off from last year. Especially the guys there all have a good level experience/time in the program. I bet if Ohio State had aired it out more instead of playing conservative they would've exposed this a lot sooner. Anyway congrats to the boys for the win and lets go win next week, see where the cards of destiny land for us and let's start prepping this team for a better year, next year.
  14. 1. Don’t know for sure but things are looking good for a couple of the visitors. 2. Texas has continued to chip away. They’ll be there until the end.
  15. Don’t disagree on the drop off from having Ant Hill available, but this criticism feels harsh on Lefau. He’s not the athlete Ant Hill is, but I feel like his instincts and playmaking have showed up many times the past two seasons.
  16. Even for the running game, I’d rather have an extra wideout on the field to pull a defender out of the box rather than muck things up with a second tight end. A third wideout makes you much more versatile and tougher to defend rather than the extra tight end.
  17. I agree on the first point, but everyone on this defense needs to take advantage of in-game snaps, no matter the game situation. It was an opportunity to step up against Arkansas’ backup quarterback.
  18. No doubt. We talked about it throughout the week. I didn’t think the two teams would go over my projected 41-31 final score.
  19. It’ll take the cleanest performance of the season to get the job done.
  20. We’ve got updates in the visitor list thread pinned at the top of the board.
  21. I would love for that to be the case. A&M is good, but they’re beatable.
  22. @Gerry Hamilton If we assume Lane Kiffin is announced as the new LSU HC next Saturday, how does this impact LSU’s recruiting class with NSD just four days later on December 3rd? Will the Kiffin hire be enough to keep all the LSU current commits in their class? And specifically, how do you think Kiffin’s hire will impact Martinez and R.Anderson? Thanks for your insights!
  23. Miami would be the second ACC team. They’re unlikely to make the championship game and where they’re ranked, they win and they’re in ahead of us.
  24. Real question: are there any HIs. also, what are our chances at Guervil now?
  25. That Florida loss has been our killer. The Aggies will exploit the middle of the field.
