On the Ohio State spring game broadcast one of the commentators said Sayin is closer to 5'11".

Thanks! Everybody has a few of those! We were treated great at “the school up north” last year (before, during and after the game). Hoping the experience is similar.

I have been to well over 100 games in the Shoe, this may have been the loudest one I remember. Tress tried platooning Zwick and Smith at QB why I have no idea!!! Smith would come in for a drive get us points, Zwick would come in and get us 3 and out. Regardless heck of a game and season for the Long Horns.

I really think the taller defensive lineman will impact the game. Sayin is 6’1. Burke is 6’6 and plays with a lot of intelligence. Travis Shaw is 6’5. Alex January is 6’5. Hero Kanu is 6’5. Lance Jackson is 6’5. Justus Terry is 6’5. If they get their hands up and bat those balls I think it impacts the game and flusters Sayin. Let’s not over pursue and allow for quick scramble yards or leave ourselves open to the screen. Bat it up. Get in his head. Then bring the house.

OTF Premium Ohio State HC Ryan Day Press Conference (Tuesday)

True enough, same can be said about the scoop and score. You have to play every down until the whistle blows. 75 yard play was blown coverage and a good scheme by Kelly. Scoop and score was Texas #56 just flat out getting beat off the line of scrimmage. -

a lot of what he says sounds like a mirror image of Texas. -

Texas won't be able to double all three 5* receivers . You think you can hold Smith to one catch again 🙂 -

Ohio State is motivated as well. Despite being the national champions, Texas is the #1 team coming to their house, and not many people think Ohio State will win. -

No, Day doesn’t do that. He lets his QB learn from his mistake for every games before realizing that a change needs to be made -

Dave Portnoy in Burnt Orange this Saturday?
LovingBuckeye replied to agentmule's topic in On Texas Football Forum
Several were high, several were into triple coverage. Again, Arch was better than I thought he would be. I see the potential now. Just hopefully he hasn’t learned from those mistakes yet, because if he reaches his potential against Ohio State, Ohio State probably isn’t winning. Also, you’re 100% right abour Sayin. He is not even close to a finished product. He is going to make mistakes against Texas, just hopefully they aren’t too costly. -

28-14. That’s not soft? -
I can tell you what coverages you're going to see. Match 3, Match Quarters, Split Zones, and Man over. Texas runs really simple coverages, but good luck figuring what they're in presnap while trying to figure out if it's a simulated pressure or if they're coming or not, and if they are coming who's coming as a first time starter. Hartline can only help for 15 seconds then comms shut off.

Soft is when your head coach stands on the field with his hands in his pockets while his arch rival plants their flag on your logo after winning 4 straight - Today

OTF Premium Ohio State HC Ryan Day Press Conference (Tuesday)
Ironmanz35 replied to CJ Vogel's topic in On Texas Football Forum
If Day & Ohio State throw caution to the wind like the playoff run and get out to a fast start it could be a long day for Texas. During the regular season last year the Buckeyes started slow and usually turned it up in the 3rd quarter. Now we have a new OC, but I think Day most likely personally scripted the first 15 plays for Saturday and will be calling the majority of this game with Hartline telling him what coverages he is seeing from up in the Box. -

ESPN is all over the engagement. I’m sure that’s where Joe z is spending his time. 🤣

Shot in the dark here, I’m working in Vancouver and so far struggling to find somewhere that will be open at 9:00a local and will be showing the game. Any other longhorns out there with ideas or experience in the Vancouver area?
