  1. Past hour
  2. Zero self-awareness. The guy is literally money whipping recruits because his attorneys don't believe the NCAA will do anything of note. Trying to grab unearned TV revenue from schools that have worked hard to build their fanbase tells you all you need to know about this guy. Typical Big 12 mindset.
  3. Ok. cool. Hook’Em.
  4. ESPN's latest Way-Too-Early #CFB Top 25 rankings?
  5. This guy has Styles dropping out of the top 10 and Bailey going at 3 lol
  6. I’m wondering where Jason Flores was. Did I miss hearing news on him?
  7. Much of the NFL draft is based on the perception of what a player can do. I’m sure there are some whims, like Jerry having a fascination say with Johnny Manziel, that override fit, need, etc. Presumably these teams have watched every play of every game. Maybe they look at a stat sheet, but their evaluation of play will be based on the film and how those plays were made. Hill is an interesting player. He plays hard. This year he was very impactful in the 4th quarter versus MSU. We did fine without him versus the Ags. Now whether people like the PFF or not, their rationale likely has a similar twist to the NFLs perspective. Hill isn’t particularly highly graded as a pass rusher. If I were to argue yeah but, it would be on the side of he hasn’t developed the pash rush element of his game because of practice time rather than in game deployment. So again the NFL is projecting. Theres been a question raised on how his physical presence lacks physical development. His profile does not fit that of a pass rusher and to date the skills don’t show that either. Many of his sacks are not him beating guys one on one. He does not play a premium position. I’m not sure he has a,premium trait or skill or a premium part of his game. I’d put his best attribute as that he plays hard so maybe that’s his premium. A second to third round is where he should be expected to go. It’d be difficult to say he’s a steal before the 3rd and likely into the 4th. His position simply doesn’t have many guys go until the 3rd. It’s certainly not a position for which teams reach or take many chances.
  8. Lizzy Spaight will be a better scorer/offensive threat than Rori ... and likely early on. Not saying better as an all-around player, but different. Lizzy has real scoring punch/ability ... defense has to be built with all these players over time. Crittendon more talented than Carlton.
  9. Mock drafts are like teenage boys having solo dates with a pinup on their wall.
  10. Today
  11. Texas currently 1.5 point favorite over UCLA. In the past few weeks, the Horns have held #3 South Carolina to 61 pts (25 below their avg) and #7 Michigan to 41 pts (42 below their avg). Really interested to see how Texas does against UCLA offense and Betts, averaging 85 pts on 51% shooting. csnt wait for Friday night. should be great game/ Hook em!! 🏀🤘🏼🐂🧡
  12. I think Preston can be the answer. Understand, there probably isn't another Rori anywhere. But I have seen Preston run the team and do so at speed, and do it well. Surround Preston with a good team and she will make it go. Vic will surround her with a good team.
  13. Given the void at PG snd C plus other potential gaps next season, will be interesting to see what Coach Vic does in the portal. Texas will be an attractive destination.
  14. Ant has first round talent. PK not putting him in correctly cost him several draft spots. Could and should have had a few more sacks.
  15. All of this just to be exposed against teams with an actual pulse
  16. We will miss Kyla Oldacre who wasn’t a starter but played more minutes than Cunningham. Work your portal magic Vic. Rori will be difficult to replace. Preston is not the answer. Need some portal help even with the freshman coming in. She looked good in the Mcdaag tonight but will need work to be ready.
  17. Pretty sure they played 6 member teams back then. Thank you for sharing. My father was born in 1913.
  18. It is really disappointing to see all the negative Nancy posts when a miracle does not appear on the first play of the game. Too many casual newbie bandwagon jumpers.
  19. Wait until next year's roster limits. It will be much worse.
  20. When we really want it, we can bring in the end of game pitching to shut the door. It’s a balance mid week between getting all the talented young pitchers some experience, tinkering with the roles, and then getting the wins when we need them. Think we were a little tired of Texas State coming into our house and winning .
  21. In case any of you would be interested here's the list of former Texas players who currently have their negotiation rights claimed by CFL squads: Silas Bolden (BC Lions) Tarik Black (Montreal Alouettes) Keilan Robinson (Ottawa Redblacks)
