The Oregon Ducks' Mario Cristobal was the #1 choice for Kelvin Banks and Cam Williams. Cristobal leaves for a new head coaching position and their second choice (Texas) scooped them both up. Texas hung around the rim and it payed off. The Aggies Jimbo Fisher was the #1 pick for Anthony Hill. Jimbo had a terrible season, was totally on the hot seat, and Hills second choice (Texas) got him to flip. Being #2 can simply be a stepping stone to #1 if the dominoes fall the right way.

Competive bids from more schools combined with our loaded roster = more recruiting losses than weve seen the last few seasons. It was a good run, just keep using the portal efficiently and the additional losses are small blips .
