  1. Past hour
  2. Data published in March 2024, encompassing quarterback Jalen Hurts' career up to that point, showed he had converted 67 of 75 attempts on 3rd-and-1 or 4th-and-1 situations, representing a 92.6% success rate. tush push brotherly shove SOMEONE TEACH SARK THIS YO
  3. I have to admit that I thought about this during the game as well. However, there were enough positives in the game overall that it didn't feel quite like a Herman game.
  4. Hat tip to the OLine, they did their part. All off season I never heard much praise for Arch. An occasional compliment like “he had a good practice” or “he hasn’t been turning the ball over” but never gushing praise. I guess I can see why, he’s still a work in progress. He can run. He has good zip on the ball. He has a few great throws. But man, so many bad throws, literally more than I saw from any other qB I watched today. Turfed shots, balls behind or too high. Just honestly ugly at times. I’m left wondering about how he’s doing in practice and if this has been a consistent issue for him or if this was first game jitters/Ohio speeding him up/confusion due to lack of tape on Patricia. On the same note I’m left wondering if Sark didn’t feel comfortable developing a fun and aggressive opening script due to unfamiliarity with what Ohio was going to try to do.
  5. Today
  6. For the life of me... I'll never understand why won't DB's whip their head around when trailing a WR. DB's always panic when they get beat and just try to catch up and hit the WR, never finding the football. Hell, Gilbeaux possibly could've batted it down or intercepted it had he got his head around. I think we see Kobe Black or Kade Phillips take that job by season's end. Just a hunch... but I've never been confident in him out there.
  7. All of you people hating on Arch are showing your ignorance of how a QB can develop . For him to go out and ball out would have been an anomoly. What we have is a leader with good character, and a hard worker that will get it fixed. Look at Peyton, Vince, Colt, none of them started well. And given time I could give you probably 5 more examples. He played bad, fine, he has to play better, but quit hating. It’s a small sample size and you are showing your ignorance of how this stuff works . You are game day posters. We are lucky to have a Manning. Stuck with the program for 2 years and raised right. We can stick by him for at least more than one game. Sheesh.
  8. Maybe more in a few years. Graceson was spectacular in my eyes. Not one hint of intimidation nor confusion. 🤘🏻🤘🏼🤘🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿
  9. Gracen Littleton was not just good. He was good against the best player in college football. What does that make him. Little early, but Jadae 2.0 ??
  10. Pretending a FG was the right call when it is 4th and ONE FOOT and you are down 7-0 isn’t serious. It would be like getting a 11 in blackjack with the dealer showing a 16 and choosing to stand.
  11. Texas will be fine. Last time we lost a game we went in a run. This is a good ole humble pie
  12. I’m hoping the same … said it above but they have a brutal schedule before we roll into town…
  13. I don’t think the Florida defense is close to as good as Ohio State’s, but we’ll see
  14. Good thing about this, Arch realized that he has to stay one more year to learn 🤘🏼
  15. We should all be confident in this team. There nothing about this game that makes me think oh we wont be good. Sure arch could have played a lot better but we all know arch has it in him. Trust the process. Rome was not build in a day
  16. It’s week 1 and I thought the run game was good. It seem like when they ran behind Connor stroh they got possible yards.
  17. Nobody talking about this but I tend to agree. I am not sold on our playmakers on offense. I know it’s early, but our staff is essentially relying on a bunch of unproven guys hitting. I don’t agree with that approach. There were plenty of capable WRs in the portal they could have taken that could thrive in this offense. Wingo needs to prove it. His route running and contested catch ability has been lackluster. Moore is good, but not elite. He is who he is. Everyone else is a question mark. Wisner is a good back, not elite. Baxter will take time. No home run threats there.
  18. Baxter and Wisner are ok. There were holes in the run game for huge chunk plays and neither have the burst to make it happen. No broken tackles.
  19. For instance this is miss leading he played New Mexico and there hyping him up
  20. Against two deep safeties and a light box. Teams are gonna play us like that. We basically did the same thing on defense. Bend but dont break until the field closes in inside the 20
  21. I like the way you think...
  22. I thought Arch would be more successful on qb sneaks, but he didn’t seem to get any real push. Looked similar to Quinn. We’ll be fine.
  23. Endries could’ve easily had a 10+ catch for 100+ yds and 2 TDs as open as he was the whole game. It was crazy. If Arch ever figures out that guy is on our team, he’s gonna have a monster year!
  24. With LSU winning, so far in the first two top ten matchups the lower ranked team has won, we’ll see how Miami Notre Dame turns out but this season is shaping up to be chaos so far, including bama losing to fsu.
  25. Let’s blame Bobby since he called the loss. Let’s hope he’s not right about Florida too! 🤣
