What would be the scenario to see Dry Rub Brisket either fired or off to the NFL? And assuming said “coach” is gone, does that potentially open Mark Bowman back up with a shot for the good guys @Gerry Hamilton, or was the money so high it wouldn’t mattered if they hired Billy Napier as the next coach, he’d still be going USC. Enrich my life so I know what to root for!! PS. - teams dropping like flies today. Opens everything back up for Texas much easier but we need to see the SHSU offense week in and week out. I think we are damn near unbeatable if the O looks like that and the D continues with their upward trajectory. Also, it hasn’t been pretty, but at least our new “Ship”-ley hasn’t Bert Auburned us out of an SEC championship and national championship berth so fingers crossed, Hail Mary ✝️, whatever it takes!

Reed is so improved that aggy essentially stopped letting him throw as the 2H continued. He's still trash on any throw over 15 yards. The aggy OL is still bad, and they have no self control on either side of the ball.

Auburn has the worst P5 offense in all of football and they beat them 16-10 in CS.

What's crazy is Taaffe and McDonald have been playing at a high level and you still have a starting calibre S on the bench in Williams lol.

I don't think their oline is that bad. Their QB has worse pocket awareness than Quinn Ewers. It makes their OL look at lot worse than they are.

Texas should add gymnastics. With the amount of talent in the state they would compete quickly. Especially because all the talent has to go to either lsu or ou due to no programs in state.

The key to beating them is getting pressure on Reed and stopping the run. If he has all day, Reed can hit some big throws. But he turns it over if you can pressure him. Their D was better against Auburn than I expected, but they also got shredded by Notre Dame. I still like our chances, especially in Austin.

Nah. Jackson Arnold is one of the worst QBs in college football. They is nothing special about Auburn and Aggy needed a defensive stand to beat them at home by 6.

Like just about everyone on our schedule, scoring points against us will be very difficult. They got to 16 against Auburn at home.

I have confidence our defense will clamp down on their offense, and in our offense at least being competent. If Auburn could stay close with them, Im pretty sure we can win.
