Agreed with this list for the most part. My quick thots (looking forward to those again lol): -I’d put Georgia #1 for now. They’re the best until proven otherwise. Year 2 Stockton plus development of stacked classes keeps them up there. -Buying the upside for Florida agree with your points there -I want to put Ole Miss higher with Chambliss and Lacy back. The coaching and roster turnover makes it tough. They still have a very talented team overall -Alabama has a year 1 QB for the second season in a row. Simpson was great last year and I think Russell thrives under KDB. They desperately need to figure out a run game in order to compete. - If A&M’s O line takes a step back, I don’t trust Marcel Reed under pressure. Going to be a lot of growing pains throughout the season. Their defense should still be very good with an experienced secondary.

I love the ranking and I want to agree with it do bad but I still find it hard to rank us over Georgia until we beat them. Eff it, I'm with you Ciege!

Katie Stewart says hi (SEC PLAYER OF THE YEAR) Atwood put too much pressure on herself all year didn’t help. But I’m glad Earleywine is gone.

Until Sark & Texas beats Kirby Smart & Georgia, Texas should be ranked behind Georgia IOM.

The roster

That's a mostly solid schedule. I've never heard of a couple of them but going up against Celine and Carthage gives it some merit.

Wuensch was fun to watch. One of the best ever at Texas.

That's what makes Texas like no other school in the country. We don't have to pick and choose which sport we're going to spend on. We have the resources to spend on them all. Look at our men's basketball roster, our women's basketball roster, our football roster, our volleyball roster, our baseball and softball rosters. It's why we're always in the running for the Director's Cup. There aren't many schools who can compete with that.

Let's hope she turns the program around.

They would stay after him and try to get him by signing day then go portal need be. There's always the possibility of a senior eval too but obviously nobody would rise to the caliber of Royal.

Calling all the "it is just LSU mods wishcasting...he has not done anything to show he is anything but committed to Texas" crowd. For the record, I have no idea if he stays or not, but sure hope he does. Kids enjoying the process and doing what they do does not bother me like it does others, but it is irritating to read over and over "that is just the LSU mods and national writers trying to generate clicks. He is locked in to Texas" from a certain segment of this, and other, boards. The kid is enjoying the spotlight and attention he has earned...and he is anything but "locked in" with Texas right now.

Yeah they won’t fall off a cliff as a program as long as Patty Gasso is there, but they also won’t be “OMG how do you beat them” good like they were in 2023 anymore. They’ll be more like Bama football now. Doesn’t mean they can’t get back to the WCWS and win another national championship, but it won’t be OU vs the field like it was a few years ago.

OU is kinda cooked in this era. They aren’t spending big in softball NIL wise and not portaling in big time kids. She’s good from HS but how many times have five stars flamed out (look at Bordi)
