  1. Past hour
  2. It’s crazy to me that we are at 5 days. I remember starting this at 99 and here we are…. Wild.
  3. Rise and shine yall, it’s Coffee and Football time! Game week is here and we have a lot to talk about this morning. Come join us and get your questions answered and hear the latest on all things Texas. https://www.youtube.com/live/5GXaBfkRmuw?si=Joib606ybPFENpRf
  4. 34 minutes of Bijan highlights from his time at Texas… https://youtu.be/0MAQU9Zk4fY?si=ZdE7gLZJjpJ_l6cg
  5. It's gotta be Bijan. What an incredible player and even better man. Couldn't think of a better ambassador for our school.
  6. Great call. I got a BP/Nate Jones/Limas Sweed autographed picture from ‘05 behind me when I do Coffee and Football.
  7. This is another tough one but I’m going with Bijan.
  8. Billy Pittman who had his breakout game against Ohio State, at Ohio State, with 5 catches for 132 yards, and 1 touchdown. Then also having the iconic touchdown against Oklahoma when he marched into the end zone while holding finger up in the #1 position.
  9. Today
  10. We are down to just five days before Texas vs. Ohio State in the season opener. Who is your favorite Longhorn to wear No. 5? Some options today include… Bijan Robinson Adonai Mitchell James Brown Malik Muhammad
  11. Keep getting back to Arch is much better than Sayin. We'll see.
  12. According to Tim May, Ohio State has the best player ever at every position and Texas is scared, might as well not even show up lol.
  13. Agree. It seems which group to assign Bama and Mizzou Florida, Georgia, with Miss St, Vandy, and Kentucky or LSU, Tenn, Auburn, SCarolina, and Ole Miss Makes more sense to pair Bama with Florida and Georgia and then pair Mizzou with the LSU/Tenn group.
  14. I was curious If Ohio State & Texas were mirror images of each other on the field so I did a deep dive on the recruiting rankings of all of the contributors on both sides of the ball to see how they match up. I have no idea at this moment what the data is going to show, but let's take a look. 15. Ryan Day’s beard is colored on with sharpie
  16. Except we didn’t lose BOTH coordinators which is what i think will be their downfall against us. You’re never just going to be completely cohesive on both sides of the ball game one with two new coordinators.
  17. These would be awesome games to travel for, on par with the Michigan, Ohio State, and Notre Dame on the schedule. Over the past decade, we've been spoiled with trips to the LA Coliseum, California Memorial Stadium, the Big House, and now the Shoe.
  18. Yeah, and I would argue that they should have returned to the natty game despite replacing VY with McCoy. Unfortunately, McCoy got hurt against K-State and A&M and Texas lost both of those games. If they had won both of those games, they would've beaten Nebraska in the Big 12 title game and gotten into the natty game over Florida. Could've had a rematch in Glendale that season. That team was basically the '05 team minus VY and a couple of other key contributors.
  19. Per Grok, only 3 of those guys started against USC in the 05-06 Rose Bowl. Grok‘s been wrong before. Either way, a massive fact missing from your comparison is that Texas is not returning the stars that 06 Ohio State was. If this was Arch’s second season as QB1, I would be much more concerned.
  20. The ‘06 Texas team returned all five starters from their ‘05 national championship team? That’s wild.
  21. That’s pretty weak too. Michigan’s non-conference schedule has improved. Texas, @ OU, OU, @ Texas, then nothing of quality until Notre Dame in ‘33 & ‘34 so I figure they’ll schedule another Home / Away with a SEC Program. Bama and Georgia have quality non-conference schedules lined up. It’ll be interesting to see which programs schedule Big 10, Big 12, or ACC programs. Notre Dame only has so many openings.
  22. Michigan's 2023 champs played East Carolina, UNLV, and Bowling Green, so there's that.
  23. I don't think Texas will get Alabama again int the regular season until 2028. I think they will get Missouri instead. But still, that's a tough schedule, but will be the new norm for the SEC and Big 10 going forward.
  24. Not a fan of that ASU home and away either. I like what Bobby said on Friday about UCLA, Virginia, or North Carolina being options. Go where you’re planning to recruit.
  25. I’d have to imagine that would be a Top 3 SOS
