  1. Past hour
  2. Man what’s with the Steelers and early retirements for neck injuries? Wish Ryan all the best and with his work ethic he will find success
  3. Coach Sark is speaking at 11:30 at the Houston Touchdown Club luncheon Jeff Howe and myself are here, and will the thread
  4. Man, that is unfortunate. I bumped into Watts in Georgia for the SEC Championship, where he said he was headed to New York for an additional option on his neck. At that point I believe it was option three or four. He always remained hopeful he would get back on the field, but this is really upsetting to see.
  5. Apparently a neck injury in last season's last preseason game that required surgery. Sad to see after all that work. Hope his transition out of playing goes well.
  6. Arch would have to have a 2019 Joe Burrow like season to bounce after one season as the starter at Texas. Win the SEC, win a Heisman, win a natty and go 16-0. I don't see all of that happening.
  7. @Gerry Hamilton just finished coffee and football and I see you want them hands 😂😂🖕🏼
  8. Sounds like ou is going all in for next season, if they land her as well, their outside shooting is literally the opposite of Texas'. Very similar the offensive style of football they had in Norman under Riley - we're going to outscore you mentality.

  10. The draft is now over, just like it doesn't matter what your recruiting ranking was when you enter college, it doesn't matter where you got drafted once the NFL starts. There will be 1st round busts and late round steals. If Brock Purdy can become a starting QB as the last pick in the draft, and Tom Brady can become the GOAT being taken in the 6th round, Quinn has the opportunity to be a pro and become great. He's in a good situation not having to immediately start (Brady sat behind Bledsoe to start). I was critical of Quinn's play at Texas, doesn't mean I'm not a fan. Good luck to him and thanks for the great times at Texas. Could he have been better? Sure, but after the dark times after Colt, I'm grateful for Quinn helping bring Texas back into national prominence.
  11. The problem with this click bait is that Arch ain't going to be leaving Texas after 1 year at the helm.
  12. Exactly. He’s too reigned in and cautious with this version of Quinn. He threw the ball 85 yds in air out of high school. Even just the “get serious” change of haircut showed this arc which looking back might have been actually detrimental to him.
  13. People forget his arm strength. We used to refer to his arm as a golden arm. He just relies too much on wrist flick right now. I think Quinn could use a body language coach seriously. What he thinks is being calm is perceived as being lethargic and energyless which is fair. People don’t gravitate to that. I hope he works hard after seeing all of these critiques and develops even more. (Quinn throws 85 yd in air) https://www.tiktok.com/@maxpreps/video/7277024155579452714?lang=en

  15. I still have my doubts whether it is a good football decision for any player to skip a year of high school.
