  1. Past hour
  2. Why do you think Lane is going thru all this crap and walking away from CFP team! I think his offered salary was close for each, it’s all the other benefits (recruiting) that he is leaving for!
  3. They are laying the groundwork to deny us a playoff spot.
  4. It just scares you to death. Sack up. We will be fine.
  5. Michigan State fires their HC, I'm monitoring some movement there.
  6. I never understood the Hashtag hate. I think he made some good points, maybe he was a little overly critical but a lot of what he said about players and coaching decisions was on the money before alot of other people were saying it. I dont feel like he ever personally attacked anyone and argued his points pretty well. There are still some obnoxious posters who everytime I see them in a thread I know it is going to end up 5-6 pages deep of “I’m rubber you’re glue” schoolyard ridiculous keyboard warrior posts. I don’t think DeBoer is an upgrade over Sark though. Neither one of them has the go for the jugular mentality that Kirby or Cignetti. I hope he finds it.
  7. Wild to see a coach lead his current team to the best season they’ve had in a long time while being a potential “championship caliber” team with a real shot to win it depending on how the bracket falls for them….. only for the coach to take another job and just throw all that those kids work for down the drain.
  8. Someone really need to get the college football calendar cleaned up so that we don’t have playoff coaches switching jobs right before the playoffs… move signing day and the portal to after the playoffs.
  9. AP Poll Analysis 1. Ohio State 2. Indiana 3. Georgia (will be no. 2 after next week) 4. Oregon 5. Texas Tech 6. Ole Miss (lost to Alabama by 14) 7. Texas A&M (lost to Texas by 10) 8. Oklahoma (lost to Texas by double digits neutral and Ole Miss at home) 9. Notre Dame (lost to Miami by 3 and A&M by 1) 10. Alabama (lost to Florida State by 14) 11. BYU 12. Miami (lost to SMU and Louisville) 13. Vanderbilt (lost to Texas and Alabama by 16) 14. Texas (lost to Florida by 8 on the road; other two losses to top 3 teams)
  10. 15-11 Penn .after 1st. Texas can’t buy a basket. Great shots just not falling.

  12. Never schedule a big time out of conference game again. Finish up with the home games against Ohio state and Michigan and be done with it.
  13. We’ve devolved to “I know you are but what am I?”
  14. Ya’ll think the AP and Coaches polls are bad I read earlier that the Athletic moved us down 5 spots.
  15. The correct placement would have been for Texas to move up as many spots as A&M moves back. Which would have put Texas at 12.
  16. I knew what I was reading sounded familiar lol
  17. LSU is gonna be a problem in recruiting.
  18. Especially since Florida smacked FSU yesterday too.
  19. Just run the list of who everyone has played and it’s clear that wins/losses are the only factor. Texas has played #1,3,7,8,13. No one else is even close. We went 3-2 against that list.
  20. And Georgia should really be ranked second which they will be after conference title games. So we will have beaten three teams ahead of us with losses to only No. 1 and No. 2. outside of Florida.
  21. I just don’t understand how you look at Vandy next to us and ignore the head to head result…. They beat #22 Tennessee to end the year and we beat the #3 team if you are using recency views. Can’t tell me them beating Tenn was more impressive than us beating AnM, Oklahoma and Vandy lol but whatever. Nothing we can do now
  22. @Gerry Hamilton you sir were correct
  23. I’d argue alabamas loss to fsu is worse
  24. Yep, Texas is being punished for the Florida loss because while they beat some teams above, no one has as bad a loss on their resume.
